and he said that i wont need to get drained for my removed gyno! And that the way it looks right now (2 weeks after surgery) is how it will look but it'll go down over a period of 6 months... the reason he said that there will be no need for a drain is because he used lipo. and when they used the method of cutting out a portion of the gland then you would bleed where it was removed and that's why a drains were used. Has anyone else got lipo done and not got it drained?? aky ------------------     | ||

Im 2 weeks out of ultrasound lipo of my flanks, abs, and lower back. I know the surgeon well in fact I may go work for him. He told me some people need drain others do not, depending largely on age and condition. I did not require a drain. Also, my upper and mid abs looked good prior to surgery and now look worse. At my follow up he told me 4-6 weeks about 80% of the swelling goes down. The rest over about 2 more months. Im in the same boat as you..the old hurry up and wait game. Not and easy thing for impatient people but, Im sure things will look good in the end. The Freak | ||
