And doing a bulking cycle, would you eat every god damn thing you could get your hands on, and then diet when your cycle was over. Or would you watch your fat intake and possibly get less gains from the cycle by eating less fatty/high calorie foods? | ||

how big are you? or "your friend"..i would diet down maybe a little before wasting money on bulking drugs to bulk..if you want to bulk then bulk..if you want to cut then cut..like i said..if you arent happy with your current body fat % then watch your carb intake and increase cardio...go all out either way..cut or bulk | ||

Well I'm not fat, but I'm not ripped. I have a 34' waist. I weigh 210.Just under 6ft tall. Probably about 13-15% bodyfat(all in the gut).. | ||

I would lose 5 % now....then start the juice and slowly increase the food until the gains are coming good...add aerobics in to every workout and skip carbo loading on weekends | ||

I agree with the albino up there, if you're going to BULK, THEN BULK, but if you're going to cut, then CUT! I wouldn't really want to start a bulking cycle with over 10% bodyfat, but as a bodybuilder I'm all about appearance--if you're not looking to get on stage, do whatever makes you feel better/happier! ------------------ | ||

Why cut first just to gain all the weight back while on the cycle. This way instead of dieting before and after your cycle, you can just diet after. | ||

I would do a cutting cycle but not too harsh. Aim to get to 8% then after the cycle maintain 8% and bulk up on the next. You will look 100 times better... ------------------ | ||

I say diet without A.S. to about 10%. Then bulk rationally. Be sure that you are eating all you need to grow. Yet perhaps eating 1-2000 calories/day more then you need is better then eating more, in the sense that after a while the 9th double cheesegurger don't taste so good anyway and may just go to fat. Using A.S. while dieting makes no sense unless you have lots of muscle to preserve. Muscle growth should be nill if you really need the stuff. For a non competitive amatuer the diet natural, then bulk with A.S. will work the best. Unless of course you plan to stay "on " all the time and don't need to make the best use of your "on" time. | ||

Smoot: Listen up bro. Dieting while on a cycle is great. During my last contest prep I gained 5lbs of LBM and lost 15lbs of FAT in 10 weeks. This was taking about 200-250mg/week... You can gain muscle and lose fat while on drugs. Don't forget this. YOU CAN'T DO IT NATURALLY BUT IT CAN BE DONE WITH THE RIGHT DRUGS....... ------------------ |
