I just got a email from a good friend of mine who I haven't seen in 2 years...He's 31, married 3 years with a 2 year old son..great guy, never touched a drug in his life. I never even saw him drink. Lived a pretty healthy lifestyle...pumped iron, didn't juice, anyway... For 7 months he's getting headaches that are getting worse and worse...he finally goes to the doc and he orders a CAT scan..they find a fucking BRAIN TUMOR about an inch wide. Whats even worse it's sandwiched between his optic nerve and pituitary gland. It will eventually kill him if its not taken out....along with the risks of brain surgery alone he has been told that that there is a very really possibility that he will be blind after the operation because of the location of the tumor and where the surgeons have to work(on/around the optic nerve) Moral of the story....tragedy can strike anywhere anytime....and those of you who complain about your lives(I'm guilty)...well somebody always has it much worse. Make it count while you can...     | ||

Sorry to hear that. A friend of mine dropped dead not too long ago. She was a 23 yr old vegetarian who exercised alot. So I thought the same thing you did. That's why I try and live day by day and live each day to the fullest possible. I hope he ends up coming through. Again, I am sorry. | ||
