Anyone eat the same diet in the same amounts every day? I have always done this and I can't imagine having my meals be a free-for-all every day. I have to know what I'm eating and how much of it. By eating the same thing every day I feel that I am not cheating any particular muscle group out of its nourishment. I just couldn't imagine winging it. I do this year round. I do this when I am eating very strict and clean, I just dont have a lot of options or creativity/time. Its tuna, chicken breast, and shakes, mix in some potatoes (nothing on them) and egg whites once in a while but thats about it. For bulking: In the morning, I eat a bowl of shredded wheat or raisin bran with skim milk when I get out of bed, then I take 2 meals to work(one for mid-morning and one for mid-afternoon) along with my famous MRP with 120 grams of protein to drink in between meals. I go out for lunch and eat whatever I want. Then another bowl of cereal about 30 min. pre workout. Then comes the post workout meal...Usually lots of nutrient dense calories. ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

6 Days a week I eat the same meals throughout the day. Weds, Thurs, Fri, and Sat nights I rely on shakes for the most part unless I bring food with me because I run security for a nightclub and its difficult to boil potatoes and grill chicken while breaking up a brawl. I do have a cheat day that usually does not tend to get to crazy simply because my body does not digest "shit" very well. Maybe a slice of Pizza or a milkshake..possibly a few cookies..no big deal.just enough to reward myself for a dedicated week. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

thank god i am blessed with a fast, no, make that very fast metabolism. my dad is about 6'7'' tall and weighs around 240, however, i took after my mom who is 5'2'' and 92lbs. to be honest i eat whatever i want whenever i want when i'm not dieting and the only thing i change when i am dieting is i basically drop simple sugars. i am 5'7'' and 212lbs with 10% body fat. i don't really care what i eat as long as i get my required amount of protein a day. after that whatever looks good, smells good, and ain't movin i'm eatin. ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

Vitimans are at best better then nothing.Eating the same stuff all the time is a bad idea on the theory that food is a complex substance. Even while dieting, there is no logical reason not to eat a variety of fresh vegatables. Perhaps this is an over reaction to the common experiance of lifters that have purchased 900$ worth of dietary supplements only to discover testosterone. Sure, supplements are 99% bullshit, yet the body is healthier on a varied diet that includes changing all foods and rotating vegatables. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||
