well it's been almost 2 weeks since i got my gyno removed and it still looks 'puffy'..... B4 it was puffy and narrow (pointed) but now it's just puffy... the narrowness has gone down! I dont have any drain or anything... is it b/c of that.. i have to see my doc in 3 days... i'm hoping that it's swollen but i doubt it... how long does the skin take to adjust to the new formation of the body?!?!?! Also, if i strech the skin it looks fine.. it's basiclly the skin in saggy/flabby...

what do you guys think?!?!?!

Acky, I was wondering when you would show up again, you never replied to my post I had asking about you.

You will probably get a drain at the office, he inserts a needle and draws out the fluid.

How are you feeling? When will you start training again? How long were you out of work?

Hey bro,
I had mine done last year and the doc told me that it would take months fo rthe swelling to go down (dont know how true that is) but it did look better as time went on. I still need to go in and have him take a little bit of the fatty tissue out as it is still a LITTLE bigger on one side comparred to the other. From what he (doc) has told me is that he will just go in and do a little bit of liposuction in the area. When you go see your doc ask him to drain it. After my surgery I went to my doc twice a week for about 4 weeks and then once a week for another four week and each time he drained fluid out. Good Luck........... "B"

The puffiness is because you have a lot of water where your gyno used to be. Ask the doc to drain the area and you'll look fine. It was weeks since my surgery too and I'm satisfied. Hardly no visible scars and flat chest. Drain them yourself if you want to look better. just stick a needle into the area..

sometimes in the surgery the doctors may not remove all of the deposit, which leaves some in there like you still have it, it happened to my friend.

Yeah maybee but it's still the water that makes his chest puffy. Once he drain it it will look better. I never got any bandages. Looks pretty fine anyway...

When they cut the gyno out it leaves a cavity which the body fills up with fluid. I had surgery and had to have it drained about 2 weeks later. It didn't hurt at all as they put the needle through the already made scar and worked very well with an instant improvement. This is very normal and the reason why some surgeons use a drain for a short while after surgery.
