I've heard conflicting stories on this one. But if I order gear from overseas, is there any chance they would arrest ME for possession/importation of a controlled substance? Most people on the board have indicated that Customs just sends you a nice letter if they seize your stuff. Any thoughts on this? Thanks     | ||

I HAVE RECIEVED A CUSTOM LETTER BEFORE. AND NO ONE HAS COME AFTER ME. BUT I BELIEVE IF CUSTOMS WANTED TO THEY CAN COME AFTER THE PEOPLE WHO THEY SENT THE LETTER TO. | ||

Yeah...my guess this that if you order just small personal quanitities...the feds arent going waste their time on us. However, if you order massive resale levels, I'm pretty sure they would come knocking...anyone else?? Thanks | ||

From an incidence that I went through at work once I would think that customs would not come after you after seizing your package. The customs agents seized a package of imported cuban cigars at the dock of my recreational marina valued at 25000 and the only thing they did was tell the people to leave the marina. I think these small seizures are part of a plan to catch the bigger cat, if you get me!!!! |
