This is some real advice for those who may wish to check out the availability of gear in TJ, but have been put off by the posts of certain dickheads here and on other boards. 1. Dont dress like a bodybuilder. You want some unwanted attention..you'll get it! Who you tryin to impress the TJ whores!? They will fuck you for money ya know?! 2. Be polite to the people whom you deal with down there. I am ashamed to say that alot of lifters think that they do not need to be polite to other people simply because they are physically superior to them. Let me tell you that Mexicans do not take well to jerkoff lifters with this kind of attitude. You worried about a pharmacist turning you in??? Id be alot more worried if I had an attitude when I dealt with that person. You catch more flies with honey brother. 3. If your worried about the federalies busting you for gear(assuming that there is any gear left since, according to some, it is gonna be made illegal aaaaaa)then have some shakedown money handy. Be polite & always understand that if these police have the choice between taking your $100 bribe to let you go & give your gear back, and taking you to jail...they will always take the money. You would too if you made $300 per month. Just off the top of my head     | ||

good advise on the being friendly bit but all the other info is bogus. No flame intended. 1. They don't make 300 a month. In fact the only good jobs in MX are the government jobs. 2. It totally depends on the mood they are in wheather or not they take your money or even bother you at all. Its a lot like american cops. You can speed right by a cop one day and nothing happens and on another day you get a ticket for not using a turn signal while turning onto a one way street You really cant generalize these people. SV has a very good point, all I can say is just use your head and show some respect, don't be a typical american while your down there and you won't have problems. As far as shakedown money: you may be leaving some money on the table, $20-$50 will work just as easily as $100 IF they think thats all you have. well anything is possible bros, I am going to convert my thoughts, so I think since all this TJ hype is coming up, maybe one should just go to rosarito, I think next time I go to TJ it will be at night, then you can be more incognito, another good idea is to go early in the morning before stuff is really going on, if you have ever been to TJ or mexico period in the early morning say 7 or 8 the policia and business owners are just getting around, and there isnt many people on the streets, get in and get out, but for the most part the best assurance is to have a store that you shop at regularly and you are known there, and you have a somewhat relationship with the counter-people, that way you will be respected and they know when your there, that you are a good customer who will buy an array of products, and they can count on your business frequently, the more they see your face the better off you are. I think if they see a guy and he buys 500 bucks worth of shit and they have never seen him, and say that store is some-timey about calling the border, then they are more likely to call on the guy they have never seen who has just purchase about $3000.00 in black market priced goods, instead of someone they see every 2 weeks who just buys a personal load. The bottom line is you have to be smart and aware, you have to have a plan together before you even cross the border, what store your going to, what your gonna buy and if your bringing shit back how your gonna do it. The best thing to do is make some connects in the town you shop in and know the ins and outs of the trade, hey it is smuggling, and those border patrol assholes are dying to nab a fool just for having a joint in his pocket. | ||

CN1. I TOTALLY 100% disagree with you on the guy who purchases a big order being turned in. If they see a new customer purchasing a large order, believe me, they are going to help you out in any way possible. How are they to know that this new customer isn't gonna buy $3000 every week? I think that the whole pahrmacist turning people in is WAY WAY WAY exaggerated. They rely on customers. If you are buying dope however, it is probably true that dope sellers will turn in guys in order to assure that their mules get across. Kind of like in "Brokedown Palace". With pharmaceuticalls, it is unlikely to happen unless you piss someone off. | ||

no I was meaning if the pharmacy is notorious for turning in customers, I agree that behavior isnt common, I know it is rampid in laredo though, but the part about the 3000 dollars, was taken wrong, I mean the customer buys 500 dollars worth at the pharmacy, then at the border they are gonna nab you for the black market or street value, say you buy 50 sustanon at ten bucs a piece, then in the USA that is what....... 1500 bucks, hey I agree with you about the turn in part, but like I said I agree with you on that, Im just talkin in terms of someone who has never been before, because those schiesty pharmas will sell you 1000 dollars worth, then call the border and get the shit back when the asshole is popped at the border. | ||

slo.....Im not tryin to scare people, but isnt it better to know all the ins and outs, sure alot of the pharmas arent going to do this, but isnt good to know if you have never been what is possible. Its better to be prepared and knowledgeable than no one mentioning it or letting a person know whats possible. Hey I use to smuggle out of laredo about 3 times a year, in one trip I had 20, 50cc jugs of nor 50, 10 50cc jugs of metandiabol, and 100 primotest and 2000 valium. So I know whats goin on! | ||

Hey guys, not to toot my own horn but I have been down south almost every week for the past 14 months. WHether on or not. Slopain has also made trips in the triple digits so guys, as well as you mean your posts to be please dont extrapolate a singular incident and have it as gospel. All opinions are welcome, except know it alls who clearly less border saavy than other members. We're here to learn, not to show off what we know or can post or to talk rubbish. BTW being discreet and not flaunting what you have is a great start. Buy your stuff and then leave. Also the idea of famacia employees turing you in doesnt seem to happen very much. If you are buying shit like Rohypnol and says Oxyvcontins in a large or substantial amount you are gettting into dangerous waters. THe reason I say this is that I walk over and am easy as hell to spot and I am NEVER (almost-honestly) never singled out or searced ------------------ | ||

he's right alot of it depends on the products as alot of the junky kids down there are buying Nubain, Oxy, valium, and Rhuffies. Tj is definetly worth it but with that advice you can't go wrong. Also aviod the pharmacies right across the boarder as they are being watched and there are alot of narcs right out side of pharmas on Revolution | ||

I think my final word on the topic will simply be this. IMO..The farmacias in TJ owe ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to the US customs officers. They have no reason to fear them...I mean it aint like the customs guys can come arrest them in TJ or anything like that. The farmacias do however owe probably 95% of their buisiness to the American consumer weather he/she is buying gear, Vali's, Oxycontins, or just some meds for the clap. That being said, it would make no sence for ANY farmacia to turn ANY of their consumers in to the customs authorities & thus lose that customer. Tijuanians(at least the ones I have met)are nice people & are ALL ABOUT BUISINESS, i.e the American dollar my bros. Turning ANYONE in just aint good buisiness. | ||

ok, here are 2 points to look at. the people down south are very aware that we have it better than they. They are basiclly proud and do not like being treated with disrescpect or as lesser people. Be polite & respectfull. When asking directions i have had mexcians actually ask other people for me until they get the right answer, once it took 6 people and all of us pointing in other directions. BE NICE!! As for the Pharms turning you in.. NAh.. you think there is a reason that 90% of mexcian Pharmacias are within a few miles of the border? go 50 miles south you wont find that heavy of a concentration. they know excactly where the money is coming from. They are "target marketing", if meatheads like us wherent buying the goods from them so much, they wouldndt fuckin stock it!! This info is based upon over 20 years( i'm alomost 40) of doing biz down there from excotic birds, AS, to even reverse smuggling, yes, selling the pharms the stuff you guys would buy just to smuggle back!! any body who's been around along time would remember the "fiesta americana" hotel/pharm... again, be nice, be respectfull, be smart, and DONT be obvious!! | ||

RYKER, My point was that I go over and DONT bring anything back. Please do not read into my post and come to a totally inacurate conclusion. If you look where I live I have no reason to. I know what I know about the scene because I can get there anytime I'd like to and scout things out. Just because you get thru (meaning myself) doesnt mean its "Safe". Just for the record I was not, nor will I or have I ever bragged about shit down there. I just like to fill guys in. Guys who dont know dick gave Thunder a hard time and this guy crosses probably as much as I do and does his biz over there and stays LEGAL. Granted he might of made it seem like Fedrali's were perched outside of all kinds of farmacia's and its really not the case. I dont know the guy, but in my opinion, he came off as an alarmist & I have seen SOOOO many posts as to how vet gear aint gonna be legal & doom & gloom this & bad news that, that I just snapped on the brother. IMO, if you are polite & dicrete down in TJ, then you will 95% of the time never have problems. I never have & tend to think of people as idiots who have all these problems.
