I was working out 4 days a week. M,T TH,F

Recently, I added bicep/tricep to on saturday cause i felt lifting more. Anyway, I took a shot of sust/deca on sunday nite, woke up the next morning with a sore throat. Thought it was sust flu again, but then i got a cold. Anyway, Mon & Tues, my lifts were way up. Then yesterday my bench was up a little bit too. I havent been able to sleep the last week at all. Im wondering if i overtrained, or just got sick? Today I feel really worn down and tired.

I would stick to the four day routine if I were you. You will probably see better gains with more rest, especially if you aren't able to sleep.

Everybody is different and our bodies speak to all of us. If you keep getting sick then I'd cut back, same with the sleep because sleep is as important as anything else that you do. Listen to your body and you'll be fine.

It seems as if my weights were going up, I wasnt overtraining. I think the lack of sleep, stress, made me sick. Now I feel like shit. Im going to rest until monday.

here's how I look at it: If your training weights are not going up, even marginally, than you are probably overtraining. On juice you should be getting steady gains in strength. Another sign is fluctuating body weight. I recently took a 4 day rest from lifting and was stronger when I came back. A little rest is good for the body.

Bro, it's been said that there is no such thing as overtraining, just undereating. While i somewhat disagree with that statement, are you eating enough calories from carbs and protein? It is good to take a couple days off, as you suggested, if you are feeling tired and weak. Give your body some rest, and make sure you're eating enough calories and you should be good. Hope that helps somewhat bro.

The lack of sleep could be from the sus, does that to me sometimes. If so eat a ton of turkey before bed, helps me fall asleep right away. If you are tired there is nothing wrong with taken a few days off and relaxing, getting over your cold and coming back healthy.
