If you are doing fairly low intensity cardio and are putting it into 20-30 minute sessions, what is the max u can do in a day without losing too much muscle? calories are about 500 under maintenece to begin with but I am on heavy juice and taking shitloads of fat burners, T3 etc. I just wanna know how much cardio I can do, I am willing to do four 30 min sessions, so the sky is the limit just whatever won't cause me to lose too much muscle. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

When dieting I would do 4-5 days at week 45 minutes a pop. Now that I'm bulking I do one 45 minute sesion a week. I use that stair mill thing where it is actual stairs that revolve. I really don't do it for cardio, though it burns a lot of calories and really gets the heart pumping. I do it for my legs. It really builds em. ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

thanks for the reply. i'm leaning towards more cardio than less right now. theory of splitting it up alot is because of the longer u go the more u are telling your body "hey i gotta run for miles here, lets get rid of this muscle!!" just an opinion though. anyone else wanna chime in? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Basically the same. When cutting I do 6 days 1 hour of cardio, 45 minutes of lifting. When bulking I do 45 minutes every 2 days of cardio and lift about 1 hour. I mix it up 15 minutes on the stairs, 15 on the treadmill, and jump rope for 15. Good luck. If you're doing your cardio right ther is no amount of food that will keep you from losing some mass. The good news is you'll look bigger in the mirror, the bad news is your clothes will be lose and you won't feel big. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

kodiak, you notice any difference in amount of fat loss when your on juice compared to off? my opinion is that when your on so many drugs that shift the balance of power heavily into catabolism of fat and anabolic towards muscle, the cardio would be more likely to go after the fat and spare muscle. i mean it makes sense to do more since the cardio will be more beneficial than ever as far as fat loss goes. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Hey bro, I agree with you about do more and therefore smaller aerobic sessions than fewer and longer. When cuting do 5-6 days of cardio a week, 20-30 minutes of length. If you feel the need do it twice a day, not more than this. (one in the morning on empty stommach, and one after weight-workout.). Maybe wait with the heavy as while cutting?? How long have you been doing as this time, is it time for a break? For the choice of aerobic excercise, choos whatever suits you. The only important thing is that you get in to your fat burning heart rate zone. If you want to jump alternately on your legs, and flab your arms - okay the ![]() Mike H / MICHLDAV ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Lately I've been doing 30 mins every other day (for the past 10 weeks) and I've definately cut in a lot. I've stayed at the same weight this whole time even though I would like to gain some. I'm not dissatisfied totally with my results since I am a LOT more defined now than I was (even though that wasn't very defined at all) I've increased my calorie intake and protein and I am gaining a little mass it appears but I'd definately like to gain more. I'm afraid to eat a whole bunch more because i am liking all this new definition I have but some of yall claim to be gaining 2 to 15 pounds a week! I'd like to do that too! I had a motorcycle wreck on may 10 and while I was laid up recovering for 5 weeks I lost 17 pounds (from 200 down to 183) After 5 weeks off I came back light duty/rehab on my clavicle and knee and now it's november 16th and I weigh 191. Is this average progress or am I a hard gainer? Or maybe I need more food...I met with a nutrionist and she recomended a 2600 calorie diet. I have a hard time only eating 2600 so i go with 3600 trying to gain...anyways i was just wondering if this was normal sorry if it took so much to get the jist of the point across...Any suggestions or thoughts would be appreciated. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
