Just a small point of order from me, IronMike here. Media and goverment rhetoric constantly refers to and deals with AS as "drugs". Now drugs imply all the narcotics etc, so when the media run a story on "drugs in sport", well how is that going to affect public perceptions? AS are, basically, just synthetic hormones (well, good enough anyway). Consider the difference in impact on the public - and subsequently on the courts etc - of the following... A) "Mr X tested positive to a banned drug. His friend was arrested for distributing drugs to be used by athletes. His sister was a runner and was proved to be a drug cheat" B) "Mr X tested positive to elevated hormonal levels. His friend was arrested for distributing artificial hormones to be used by athletes. His sister was a runner and was proved to be a hormone user." Now the difference may seem minor, but I feel that if the rhetoric can be changed and AS can be clearly demarcated from narcs and so on, we stand a chance of having the voodoo removed and everyone getting a fair go. Think about it, and any comments fire away! IronMike

Yes indeed. These are the bodies chemicals. You don't see the body making crack on its own do you? NO. Nobody is jacking steroids(supplemented hormones) to get a euphoric sensation from it. We are simply supplying the body with more of what it makes on its own to better its performance. The body is able to produce certain amino acids on its own yet nobody refers to protein as a drug. No, its food, and AAS are hormones. ------------------

No. They are drugs. AAS are synthetic derivatives of the male hormone testosterone. The body does not naturally produce dianabol or finabolan.

Drugs are defined as any substance that has profound effects or causes dramatic change in the body. AS are natural substances made by your body? HAHAHAHA! I didn't know that the body naturally made dianabol and nandrolone! LOL! AS are synthetic chemicals (drugs)....get over it bros.

Steroids are indeed drugs. Andro is not a drug, it's classified as a nutritional supplement and therefore is not loowed to make any therapeutic claims.

Sorry bud, they are drugs. LSD is a psychotropic, testosterone is a hormone, but their both drugs. I have never heard of trenbolan acetate being produced within the human body, but im probably wrong. Hell, were still with you all the way, we know what your trying to drive toward. ------------------ |
