A friend of mine got his blood tested not too long ago, and they doctor said his liver wasn't doing good, and he should come back in 3 months to get it rechecked. Don't do whatever to do any more damage to it.
Shortly after he went to the dermatologist(sp?) and he gave him accutane to take. My friend told him about the liver problem, and the derma told him that accutane does not affect the liver. What do you all think about that. I don't him not to take it, but who is he going to believe...

Well baza read my post a couple threads down, it might shed some light its called Accutane update or something.

Long story short it ISNT very hard on the liver, the web site even says that and they list all kinds of sides.

Yeah I read most of your post too long.
But, if the doctor told him to avoid anything that would affect the liver, you would think that accutane should not be taken, even if it barely affects the liver.

I would err on the side of caution for sure if he has liver problems. Accutane, Gear, and liquor would all have to go.

Short enough =)
