i was just wondering what u think would be worse on the liver, an eight week course of winny or d-bol tabs vs a an eight week drriking binge of say 6-10 beers every day?

Technically, it would depend on the proposed doses of Winstrol and/or Dianabol.

In practice, unless you use A WHOLE LOT of Winny/D-bol, I believe that the drinking binge would produce greater hepatic stress. As 17-aa orals go, both of these are relatively mild (certainly vs. anadrol.) My best guess for an equivalence point with regard to liver stress would be something like 150 mg per day of W/D. If anyone has a better estimate, I would be quite interested in seeing it.

Bear in mind that 6-8 drinks per day is an amount which completely pales in comparison to what some people (alcoholics, naturally) consume (and this over the course of tens of years, frequently, before cirrhosis sets in.)

Which figures? Winny/D-bol 150 mg/day = 6-8 drinks/day? That was just an educated guess, and I tried to err on the side of conservatism. I meant to imply no degree at all of scientific acuracy.

As for the observation that a healthy liver can deal with a whole lot more liquor than this, on a chronic basis over the course of decades, day in and day out... Well, I happen to be Russian, a fact which gives me a special insight into just how much abuse a healthy liver is capable of handling! <g>

Liver damage is highle overrated with steroid use. Most occurences are from patients being treated with AS for blood disorders, hypopituitaryism, etc.
For example, i have read numerous medical abstracts, and two come to mind about liver damage.
Two patients with disorders were being treated with AS. One was treated with 150mg/day Methyltest for 7 years and the other with oxymeth for 3 years at 60mg/day. With some invasive surgery and removal of the AS, the tumors they grew went into remission. One was an Adenoma, one was a carcinoma.
It is also been found that CARCINOMAS are VERY rare. Lets also keep in mind the extreme long term doses assisiated with treating disorders.
There is really no info on bodybuilding doses and the effects that come with it, except on that was about test patients getting bodybuilding doses of testcyp and experiencing NO problems.
