Ok any suggestions? I've been off for almost 3 months, I don't have a lot but keep getting a few and they take forever to go away. Almost always on upper shoulders or lower back.     | ||

Pantothenic acid (sp?) It's vit B5. Take 5grams till it clears, then 2grams as maint. | ||

micke is right. i had acne in high school and doc prescriped Accutane (or Roaccutan, as in europe). got rid of acne, forever! too bad it's so expensive. luckily my insurance covered it! | ||

Save some dough and get Gugglbolic by Syntrax. Works as well as Tetracycline for acne reduction. ------------------ The moral? It doesn't matter whether you are a lion or a gazelle, when the sun comes up - you had better be running. | ||

i used to take doxyclcine and it always worked well, one tab a day for about 4 months used to clear it up about 80%. Also if your lucky enough to live near a beach, then a quick swim every day will keep it all away. | ||

barney, one of the side effects of Doxycycline Hyclate is permenant tooth discoloration, did u experience anything? | ||

I used Doxycycline (not against the acne) and didn't have any tooth discoloration... And accutan is THE SHIT against the acne. You will have clean skin with this. But stuff is toxic and have some side effects... | ||

Thanks everyone, I am leaning towards last suggestion. Curious it was always my understanding that tetracycline and the like inhibit much of the benefits of juice is that not so? | ||

If I took accutane when i was younger will the juice still give me acne? I get acne very rarely this drug worked wonders when I was younger. | ||

I have bad acne right now from my sust250 cycle. if you are using orals, i wouldnt recommend accutane. but i have accutane ointment and will let you know how it works..also try a body wash with Tea Tree oil in it, and possible get a bit of sun to help dry it up. shaw | ||

This will work. Check this out I was on a stack of finaplix 140mg E.O.D 500mgs sustanon and 4 dbol a day needless to say my shit was breaking out bad! It was real bad on my traps and the tops of my arms washing 3 times a day with anti bacterial soap wasent doing shit, so out of sheer despration I took a bottle of clorox clean up in a spray bottle and sprayed it on the area and used it like soap in the shower and two days later the shit started to go away. | ||

andre, no there was no tooth discoloration, i have never read that as a side, the only side i noticed was that it was a lot easier to get sunburnt on the stuff. | ||

Besides tanning... I take two showers at least a day... one shower I scrub with OxyWash, the other shower I scrub with Nizoral shampoo. | ||

GLP is right on. same as going swimming alot. i always clear up if i go to a pool with chlorine. since i dont trust the oceans out this way thats the way to cool off in the summer. hehe. clears up stuff good. antibac soaps work good too with some sort of exfoliating sponge (loofah etc) then alcohol or astringent wipedown afterwards. try to sleep with a tank top or something that will let your skin "breathe" too. good luck, its sucks i know. ------------------ | ||

Acne...I never really had a problem in a visible are, but I do get it on my delts and shoulders...Shawdawg sent me a good URL on acne....You guys should check it out... ------------------ | ||

jae wanted to know more about accutane. before i could take the medication, the doc sent me to lab to take some blood tests for liver function. then the doc prescriped the accutane for 2x20mg's per day for 4 months. the cycles are even longer in most cases. but the accutane shuts down the thingies (well that is is a scientific word  )on your skin, acne should be gone forever. and i had to take blood tests monthly for liver levels. acne has been gone since then.only side effect for me was a mild rash on my hands, and very dry lips. and of course, it's a very expensive drug. but it's SO worth it! peace.. |
