go see your primary care physicion then she will refer you to a surgeon. this is how I had to go about it with my HMO.

Aetna Open Choice PPO will cover all the cost. Minus the deductible which if on the high plan is 50.00 Sorry Texas HMOs are the worst type of insurance out there. But if thats all you can get then, just be glad you have some. With the PPO you can go straight to specialist and have them schedule everything. Some insurances require a referal to the specailist.

tell them that you have had the lumps ever since puberty and that you have been lifting weights and the increase in chest size has made them worse

Texas right now cycle is coming along alright. Shoulder injury has kept me fro mmaking great gains, but they are coming along. As far as insurance, it all depends on which your company you work for carries. Just luckly I have a good job where the insurance is one of the best ones out there.

Yup, Aetna paid for both of mine
No deductable since my company covers those.

Well, I had to pay a couple bucks for prescription pain killers.

I am looking into getting it done and i have bluecross blueshield and they say that they dont cover it because it is not medically necesary but i am gona try to fight it with a letter from me and my doc. those who have aetna insurance do you live in nyc? those of you who have had the surgery already do you have scars and are they really noticeable? and where are they located?

Are you happy with the outcome?
