Hey bros, I've been on 500mgs sust/300mgs deca for the last 9 weeks. The past 2 weeks, I've been feeling really depressed. I don't know what it is, but sometimes I don't feel like working out, cooking, doing really anything. I feel really down like I could break down like a girl and cry. Have any of you had this experience while on a cycle before. I mean, when I started, I did the first 2 weeks at 750mgs sust and maintained 500mgs until the end of the cycle which is in 3 weeks, but just recently I feel like this. Could this be from the progestins in the deca?? I know just test makes me feel awesome, and I've taken deca before, but this is the first time I feel like this. Just depressed some days. Well any experiences would help. Thanks.

You got it Bro! I'd vote for the Progesterone. So the next time your chick is pre-menstrual you'll know what she is feeling.

It has nothing to do with the progesterone... It is all mental bro... You are stopping to get the great gains, and it is affecting your psyche... Try getting some methyl testosterone or slam 4 advils before you workout, that will help... You'll start feeling better very fast, trust me i have been there.. Also you might wanna get good pussy

Rugby- No offence bro, but i think your way off target here. Im still making awesome gains(deca/sust), but feel depressed a lot. My emotions are up and down, up and down. I know exactly what you are going through. I feel like crying, in fact, i cry a lot, espeically with my GF.

No, I don't think it's mental either. It has something to do with the hormones...thats obvious. It happens at the begining of the cycle, throughout it, and at the end. I really don't think it's mental because it comes and goes. You can feel incredible at times and at other times you can feel like a little bitch. This isn't mental, it's chemical.

Been there myself in the past and have found that in my case it happens towards the end of a hight test cycle. I remember I couldn`t watch any movies where children or dogs got hurt, I would lose it. ------------------

I get depressed after a test cycle. For a while after my last cycle I felt listless and unmotivated. It may have something to do with the clomid (if you are taking it yet). I don't experience this on cycle though. Talk to your doc about this. I am taking antidepressants (Celexa) and it does wonders. ghans

tough it out. be a meathead, if u stop hitin the gym you're gonna feel worse in the long run cause its gonna be harder for u to look like what you were while u were on the gas. Take some utimate orange, if that dont work get back on the gas. thats my best advice, i never have a problem with lifting after a cycle is over, but that's just me, stay with it. good luck ------------------

Rugby.... What does taking 4 advil before a workout do for you???????????/

Its caused simply by all the dramatic hormone level swings. The human body has a very complex way of balancing the hormonal system. When you fuck with it this stuff just happens. Take some St. Johns Wort and some tribulis. Stay away from any stimulants like ephedrin/ephedra. Also make sure you stick it out in the gym. I like to do intense cardio, It seems to calm me and straighten me out a little. -Gord

Definitely can relate bro. Usually during the first 3 days after a shot I'm am an emotional rag. I get sad, angry, suspicious and self doubting-no one would ever describe me by any of these adjectives otherwise. It usually subsides by the 3rd day, and time for the next stab. Clomid does this too sometimes.

What Im worried about is when I end my cycle and start hitting the clomid. Ive heard that can be even worse. I dont know about you guys, but im sick of feeling all fucked up like this. Dont get me wrong, my cycle is kicking ass, but my emotions are fucked up. Its hard to deal with sometimes. So, in a way, I cant wait to get "off"

I had the same problem after my last cycle. Just come off as planned, use Clomid and maybe some proviron, and keep lifting. When you start to feel like shit, try to remind yourself why it's happening and look at your muscle and strength gains. It's a trade-off, but it will end. I got very suspicious of my wife last time. Now I just remind myself that it's ME, and keep it to myself. PS Don't watch Old Yeller...

I've been a wreck lately too. It does suck! I did a short 2 week fina cycle transdermally and 100mg/ED. For about month or more after stopping I have felt really depressed, got nervous and anxious easily for no reason, energy and intesity in the gym has sucked for a few weeks. I'm normalizing finally though. I'm about to do a sus/fina/arimidex cycle and hope I handle it ok.

Bro's, we're all going to be just fine. See, we're not alone in this crazy world. Now lets all get a BIG group HUG. Remember, you are special, you count Oh, there goes a tear rolling down my cheek. ------------------

If you can diagnose cycle or post-cycle depression, you should be fine. It's when you deny something is wrong that it gets out of hand.

Thanks for all the advice bros. Yesterday and today I feel great! Feel awesome! Confident, happy, like nothing could get me down. Of course I'll tough it out in the gym, the only problem is a few weeks ago I hurt my left biceps while doing back with my partner. Doing hammer one arm rows, the last set, I failed at 6 or 7 reps and he pushed me until I did 11. I'm not crying cause I like when we push each other like that, but I had nothing left and pulled with all I had and ended up hurting the bicep right at the base of the elbow joint. So it hurts now and is getting me down cause I can't lift as heavy as I want. Hopefully it will feel better soon. As far as the emotions, I understand that we are messing with hormones and they play big parts in our emotions. I just don't like this part cause it is the battle of it. One day you are on top of the world, the next you feel like crying all day. Yeah, it is a trade off and we all have been there, and we all have worked through it. Thanks everyone. |
