I was wondering who here has taken low T-3 dosages during a bulking cycle to keep from gaining too much fat. I was wondering how 2 25mcg doses a day may effect someone. I am starting Deca/Winny/Enanthate. Because I weigh over 250 I need to take in a lot of calories so I eat some junk food everyday to jack my cals up, in the process I put fat around my waist. Not a big deal but I'm curious how some T-3 in low doses would effect a cycle. I already have low TSH levels according to a recent blood test so maybe it would help me. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

I asked the same question on the anabolicextreme board. 25mcg a day is probably better. The half-life of cytomel doesn't necesitate 2x daily dosing. 12.5mcg is around maintenance level, and since you already have low t3, even that dose would have some effect. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

To me, 25mcg isnt enough. It barely competes with natural T3 levels. I use 50mcg and never had a problem. It not only helps with carbs, but when youre using gear, it gives protien synthesis a little "push" too! Ive used 75 and 100mcg, but to me anything over 50 got to be too much into the realm of "cutting" dosages and affected my gains. I tried using it while I was off and lost an ass-load of muscle! Monster - did you take 25mcg twice a day or 1 dose of 50mcg. Also did you end up leaning up at all while gaining muscle or did you just maintain current bodyfat levels without adding a bucket load of fat while you were gaining muscle? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

I am doing 25mcg a day. I am eating more than usual 4250cals (my maintenance is about 3500 cals) and not gaining fat. Bodyfat seems to be maintainable at 25mcg for me while eating as much as I can. If you want to actually lower it go with 50mcg. If I recall corectly you are a huge guy so "maybe" 50mcg will be better. ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

I started at 25mcg today and will continue on that through next week to see how I do. And yes since I am a rather large individual (thanks for remembering Drexx) I may move it up to 50mcg ED. I read the recent article on Thyroid hormone and it seems as though someone can get away with a daily dose of 25-50mcg without really doing any damage to your body. I am going to give it a shot and see if I can keep from getting fat while I add more mass and eat like a king. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

Well some people take it forever (not by choice usually). At low doses I think it can be taken for fairly long periods like 10 weeks or more (though I am sure noone here is going to recommend this). At higher doses one must be careful. I'd like to hear more input from experienced users to see the different experiences and doses they have had. Not so much on the cutting side of it but as a maintenance and bulking aid to keep from getting really fat. (I know someone is going to eventually chime in with a flame and tell me to do cardio - it's not an option at this time.) I am using it at 50mcg/day along with my dbol/deca cycle and it is not cutting into my gains at all. It seems to be keeping me from getting the carb/water bloat. Maybe I need 50mcg/day instead of 25mcg/day because I weigh more (235lbs). ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
