I will start adding potassium to my accessories list when I'm on a cycle.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) -- Banana producers can claim that their fruit reduces the risk of blood pressure and stroke because they contain potassium and are low in sodium, an industry group said Wednesday.

The International Banana Association said the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), which monitors health claims, had approved a label saying "Diets containing foods that are good sources of potassium and low in sodium may reduce the risk of blood pressure and stroke" for bananas sold in the United States.

"We can now confirm that there is a direct health correlation between banana consumption, potassium intake and low blood pressure," Tim Debus, vice president of the association, said in a statement.

Earlier this week, orange juice maker Tropicana Products Inc., a division of drinks giant PepsiCo Inc., said its products could also carry the claim.

I supplimented potassium in my last cycle and my BP went through the roof. I came off my cycle early because of it. I'm just about two weeks into my sust/deca cycle and my BP has gone down. Weird huh? Later, Green

Oh and I started taking it because of cramping. Damn creatine!

The heart is a special kinda muscle, called called cardiac muscle. Muscle contraction is caused polarity difference in muscle fiber. There are two ions that are involved here. Potassium and sodium. Unless you have a serious medical condition or are taking blocking agents, it is very difficult to change this polarity. True increasing Sodium causes higher blood pressure, but that is an osmonic inbalence, not an ionic inbalence. So in essence, increasing K+ intake will not directly effect BP
