Did he say what specifically was impinged? It can be a few different things and treatment depends on which it is. ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I can't remember exactly. It's the one that lubricates the shoulder joint. I know it wasn't the bicep tendon. ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I just went through same thing. Went to a sports specialist in Austin, TX--turns out, it was an inflamed "BURSA" (SP??) sack. The cure-- 1)a long-ass needle with cortizone. 2) Never do behind the neck presses again. and 3) work on strenghtening the smaller supprorting muscles surrounding shoulder area. As it turns out, body building puts slabs of stong muscles (GOOD) on your same old frame of bones and joints (BAD)and with your new found muscle-strength you're asking a whole lot of your bones and joints everytime you press 400lbs on the bench or a behind the neck press, etc. That's what my doc told me anyway.. Good luck. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
