Huh, I always thought Mike looked like a bodybuilder, just my opinion. He has been critisized in the past for being long waisted to a degree, and lacks some of the symetry as the top men in the sport. But look at him, he is a monster and probably the hardest working bodybuilder in the sport( quest posings, ect). He trains here where I do and to see this man in person is overwhelming ! ------------------ | ||

burnboy I'm picking on you but your definition of "no" must be pretty broad. Seeing is believing and I have seen most of the pros. Coleman looks inhuman in person but Big Mike looks quite impressive.. | ||

Mike has a very beautiful front double bicep, he has alot of enthusiam. He has been a good source of motivation for me. his back def. is a little weak, but he is a great bodybuilder and I will remember him. | ||

I think that Mike's biggest problem (other than his long and wide waist) is consistency. He has a hard time coming in in shape. This may be due in part to his work schedule. There was one contest this year where he didn't even place in the top 15. Photos of that contest tell the story. He looked flat and watery. To his credit he is honest even about his shortcomings and was one of the first mainstream pros to come clean about steroid use in professional bodybuilding. | ||

nothing against Mike, but he is a dime a dozen. There are alot of guys out there that are huge. 5years ago his size was more impressive, but now a days he blends in. Dont get me wrong, he is a monster and I would love to have his size, but stay 6'2 | ||

He lacks the massive quads and lats--THE 2 BIGGEST MUSCLES IN THE HUMAN BODY!!! Although I like his attitude and enthusiam, he'd need to put on about 20 pounds of pure muscle to break the top 5 at the Olympia--in my opinion... ------------------ | ||

Matarazzo is one of my favorites. He may not be the total package but when he steps onstage dialed in, he's one of the best. And those calves! MAN! He's also got a lot of energy and charisma onstage that a lot of bodybuilders lack. | ||

When he beat Flex and Cormier at the 91 USA's he was fucking unreal. I think he's another one of those guys, like Flex, who has to be sharp as possible to do well in shows. | ||

IFBB is rigged, plain and simple. It may not be on purpose but the system is rigged. The judges panel is always the same. If you look at the call outs for the three years you will see they rarely vary. Score cards aren't published and are done in pencil. Many things need to change before the IFBB will see people like Mike or Flex win big. | ||

TIM...what the fuck? He doesn't have a built chest, what the hell are you talking about? Take another look jerky. His calves are probably the best in the business. I think a lot of it is just politics. He needs to work on the back, but the rest of him looks really good. He's a great sportsman, and helps give BBing a good name. | ||
