Bro's,
As I posted last night and appreciate the responses. I felt a BIG twinge in my right pec last night while doing chest. Today, my right pec is very sore, and I have a dark black and blue mark on my right Bicep about the size of silver dollar. The good news is I am only going to have avoid chest for a while (2-3wks) and go a little lighter. The bad news is I am in week 7 of my Sus 500mgs/wk cycle and was making great gains in both strength and size. I've gained 17 pounds now weighing 245, and my enderence and peak strength has been phenominal. I'm very bummed that I have to rest for a few weeks, but there's always legs. . .any advice on chest exercises to build back up the tissue and strenth much appreciated.

Did a doc give you this advice ? The only reason I asked is because when I tore my pec, I also lost 1/4 of my bicep when the tendon tore off. You only get a bruise with internal bleeding. Having one located in that area could very well be some tendon damage.

Yes, the advice I got was from my old man, he's an MD. Internest, not an ortho or sports guy. He said basically the same thing you are are implying. That I did tear some muscle fibers off the tendon, but not enough to warrant surgery, because I still have full range of motion and strength, although quite painful in the area. The thing is the left side of my chest hurts, but its my bicep that is bruised. Fortunately, there is no noticable change in shape or size of my right pec or bi, just a lot of fucking pain. I took the day off and will go back with legs tomorrow. Thanks for the interest bro. If you've got some good light chest stuff to get my strength back let me know. I was finally getting 405 for 6 on the flat, now I don't think I am ever going over 315 again. Looks like reps and no more flat for me.
