So, let's see, 12 million users last year and 54 deaths, that is 0.0005% of users and 1000 complications that is 0.0083% of users. Well slap my fro, we got a crisis here. I wonder how many die from asprin use each year? | ||

Chesty - About 500 people die each year in the US from taking aspirin, according to these guys: http://www.cannabis.com/untoldstory/hemp_9.shtml I searched through the National Institute on Drug Abuse's website for a little while, but I couldn't find the primary document this references... Still, I bet it's accurate. Of course, more people take aspirin each year than take ephedrine... I bet the mortality rate between the two drugs is pretty similar though - But you don't see the FDA campaigning against the "unreasonably hazardous as marketed" aspirin... Grrrr.... | ||
