CHRIS,
I KNOW YOU ARE IN THE SAME BOAT AS A LOT OF PEOPLE. ABS TAKE A LONG TIME TO DEVELOP AND TAKE A GREAT DIET. I DONT KNOW WHAT KIND OF ROUTINE YOU DO OR WHAT TYPE OF EXERCISES BUT I WOULD SAY TAKE A LOOK AT YOUR EXERCISES AND SEE IF YOU ARE REALLY TRAINING YOUR ABS AS GOOD AS YOU THINK YOU ARE. MAYBE TRY SOME DIFFERENT EXERCISES AND MORE CARDIO...GOOD LUCK. ZEUS13

Also, consider genetics. Here is a wierd example.
I have an identical twin brother. When we wrestled in high school, we were the kings of cutting weight. He went from 140ish off season to 112 his senior year, he was to the point of passing out his body fat was so low, however NO ABS! Had strong as hell abs, we did millions of crunches a week in practice but he had nothing... On the other hand, I always had them. I still do now and I am 'bulking' I am at like 12% BF, and still have a slight six pack where he was at 4% back then and had nothing. Not saying you 'can't' get them, but just be ready if you go low body fat and your'e not too pleased...
for most, its all about body fat, they are under there, some where...
my 2 cents...

Hey bro, I think you are taking in too many carbs. From the caloric info you stated, you are taking in roughly 330 grams of carbs a day. If you want to get shredded, you need to lower that to 40-100 grams tops depending on your metabolism. Also hit cardio 3-4 times a week for 30-40 minutes ideally on an empty stomach first thing in the morning. If you can't do that, do cadio immediately after you lift, as glycogen levels will be low, thus you will hopefully be able to burn fat instead of carbs as fuel. Take in a lot of fiber from vegetables (broccoli, spinach) and supplements as it will be difficult to do otherwise on a low carb diet. Keep your protein high, drink lots of water (1.5- 2 gal./day), and take in a moderate amount of fat (flaxseed oil, peanuts, sunflower seeds) as you need to eat some fat to burn fat. Hope this helps bro.

Do abs as a warm up before each session when you're at the gym

After agreeing with everyone else on here...try gaining some more muscle. This will increase your metabolism. This should help unless you are trying to stay in a weight class.

Squats. I think everyone that has a good squat, 450 and up, with bf below 12% has ggod abs. Get the bf down some more to 9 and the abs are great!

My Advice to you is this. Different routine. instead of doing thousands of crunches really fast, do only a few hundred crunches very very slow. then after you did those lift yourself up and hold yourself there at the climax of the crunch for 20-60 seconds or until you feel the burn. Me i'm 14 years old probably consume more calories than three of you put together and probably have around 12% - 15% bodyfat and yet somehow i have an sixpack.

Feel the burn
