in my line of work i am always on the go. from morning to afternoon. so how can i get that many calories. what types of food do i eat during the day. i have protein powders, meal replacements, and protein bars right now. in the mornings and lunch time i eat fast food. what should i eat for those two meals. in between breakfast and lunch i have a meal replacement and in between luch and afternoon meal i have another. then lift weights and come home eat and drink a protein shake,so what else can i do | ||

Honestly, if you're eating fast food(poor source of nutrients however) it really should'nt be that tough to down 5000. Super size everything and you've got 2000 calories a meal right there. ------------------ | ||

try grinding up chicken breast or hamburger in a food processor and mixing it with spaghetti sauce or fat free cream of something soup and keep it in tupperware. get a rice steamer and make a bunch of rice at night. put a bit of rice and some of your "mix" in seperate little containers for meals. protein and carbs and easy to eat. i am similar schedule-wise. ya gotta make it all at night and get a small cooler for the day. bagels, sandwiches etc are quick carbs. protein shakes are good and quick. i normally make a bunch of food on the weekend so im ready for the beginning part of the week. ------------------ | ||

Well, for 1000 cals of carbs, measure out 2 cups dry measure pancakes. Yummy. Add 10-12 egg whites, 1-2 yolks with that and you have a power meal my friend. | ||

Make 2 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, drink 2 glasess of milk and you have about 950 calories right there. I do that while I drive to work in the am and pm since i spend upwards of an hour in the car each day. |
