Which would you choose:

1. 20-22" arms with none to mediocre peaks

2. 17-19" arms with very impressive to freaky peaks.

personally, i'd take #2. i'm not talking about strength here, i know theoretically the dude with the larger arms should be stronger, but by looks alone.

i think most would choose number two. a 19 inch arm with a great peak, will look much bigger than a 22 inch arm that is flat.

I dont think arm size is always measured by strength i have small arms but can curl a lot of weight and most times more then guys with bigger arms then me i would go with number 2

Eminem: Strength is determined by muscle size and nervous system efficiency. Small guys that outlift much larger men have much more efficient muscle fiber recruitment.

#2. The 19's will look like 22s if cut and peaked. I have a huge fat aunt with 22 inch arms. Measurement is not everything...

I have the peaks, no doubt. But my arms don't look big at all unless I'm in a spandex shirt.

#2. about 19 with baseball peak, and your fairly ripped

Great for when your in a short sleeve shirt and cup your hands behind your head. Always gets a look from the bicep belly hanging by your ears.

it's a Fact that Strength is not based on muscle size but the strengthand distance from the joint ligaments and tendons are conected. the fartther from the joint the stronger you are. but the farther it is the skinnier you are also. so, strength or size?

I'll be the first one to take #1. The reason is both #1 and #2 will basically look the same when relaxed and hanging down. The only time good peaks come into play is when you flex them but how often do you do that. Under normal circumstances you dont. The only important part is that your bi is separated from your delts and tris. As long as your bis look good when your arm is straight its ok. I mean Ronnies bis are way more impressive than Fux, Ruhl, Nasser, or anyone else for that matter. But they dont look better at all in a relax position. They all look the same basically. His peak bis only come into effect in the front and back double bis. In everday normal situations you dont pose so the bigger arm will look more impressive. I have friends that have way better peaks than me and their arms are only 14" but in no way does it look better than my arms which are 17.5"

Yup, I'm with you, a cut 16-17 does not fill the shirt sleeves like my 19's do. I have long arms so its hard to have a good peak so size is all I can get right now. I would have to have 22" to have a nice peak!
I'd like to reach a cut 20+ but that is a ways away.
