Just wondering about anyone's experiences with injury recovery while using AS. Just injured my shoulder and rotator cuff and bruised my lung. Any pesonal experiences?

Be very careful man...AS improves recovery, but sometimes you will feel like you are 100% and end up hurting yourself more...A little bit of knowledge...The muscles have more blood vessels thus grow faster and get stronger than the joints and tendons at a faster weight. Usually with a injury I still work out, but just not max...I just increase the intensity. Be careful of jumping back in to fast...Better to take it ease for a month or so...instead of being out for a year with torn pec ripped from the bone i.e. tendon...seen it happen to one of my friends...ewwww!!! ------------------ My battle cry will always be..."ONE MORE GODD*AM REP!!!!AAARRRGGGGHHH!!!

No, for joint injuries nandrolone decanoate (Deca) is the best A/S. Trust me, I have bone deterioration in my right shoulder (long story, has to do with the US Army giving me prednazone for way too long). Even 100mg per week off cycle makes me feel like a new man. You may want to take 100mg of a long acting test with it as well if you encounter "Decca Dick", I have yet to experience this. Propionate makes my buddy rock hard in the morning as well, but you have to inject every 3 days.

I have said this before. recently I have torn a pec right off my arm. I took AS before the tear and after. I am convinced that it helped. I agree the increase in ability will lull you into a false sense of security, however I am a big believer that pain is the ultimate equalizer-it will tell you when enough is enough. Also, during my rehab, I used relatively high reps to combat the muscle from getting stronger faster than the surrounding tissues (ligs and tendons). ------------------ |
