Well, since I'm pretty biligual, I'll try to translate...REY said that it helps pull the fat out of your body that you eat and some that you already have and you can actually see it in the toilet when you go to the bathroom...he says it's better than ECA, but I would have to disagree from what I've read...due to it's not raising metabolism or doing anything for your workouts...but if you could get it from a doc cheap (insurance, etc.), I'd go for it and stack it with some other cutting drugs... ------------------ | ||

it only prevents absorption of fat that you eat in your diet. It is like Chitosan except it really works. Downside is you can have foul smelling farts, loose oily shits and an inability to control either. Get the drift? Manana.... | ||

I have used it and still do. I use it when I eat out or goo to fast food places. I like to eat big macs but not have all that saturated fat go in. Remember to use on a ocassional basis as a BB you need your fats. YEs you will have orange underwear and real wet smelly sticky farts. | ||

Hey Cornellius, Xenical (Orlistat) is extremely effective for fat loss. I find it a lot more effective than ECA etc. because it can be used continuously. It works by inhibiting the uptake of fat in the gastro intestine. You can see good results within a short period by taking one 120mg capsule two or three times a day with meals. There doesn�t seem to be any better results by taking more than this. Taking the capsule about 20 minutes before a meal makes it more effective than taking it with meals or within an hour of eating as per the dosage directions. It will also inhibit the uptake of some fat based vitamins and supplements so you will need to take vitamin E, Beta-carotene etc. a good few hours before or after taking Xenical. Even then it is questionable how long Xenical stays in the system and the real effect it has over a 24 hour period on vitamin uptake. There also seems to be slightly less muscular growth during the period of taking Xenical. Some people can�t live with this but I think it is worth it for the fat loss. I experienced this over three months of continual use. I do not know the reason for this and Roche deny it. I expect it was due to slightly adjusting my protein intake to reduce the side effects. You can experiment for yourself and see if you find the same thing. There seem to be practically the same fat loss results taking 1 gram of (good quality) Chitosan 30 minutes before each meal. Chitosan works in a different way to Xenical but also limits the uptake of fat. I have not yet tried taking Xenical and Chitosan together but I would be interested to hear from anyone who has. Xenical has no real side effects with a �normal� diet however if you are reading this board I assume that you are someone who is used to a diet high in protein. Some of the fat that you do not digest because of the drug will be eliminated as oil each time you defecate however if you pass wind at an inappropriate time you may find that you squirt out a bright orange oil. Not a pleasant thing to happen in public (especially if you are wearing a pair of white shorts) I can tell you! Anyway, other than that it is a great drug (i.e. it is safe and it works). Like any new drug you might try, experiment carefully and watch the results closely. As Thunder says, it is perfect for eating Big Macs. Makes you feel less guilty! :-) Nex ------------------ | ||
