Is this due to some of you guys doing juice at young ages or because of genetics or just from starting to lift weights early?

It seems everyone here is either 5'6"-5'8" or 6'2"+.

As for the average male American height being 5'10"-5'11", it doesn't seem like many of us fit that range in this forum.

BTW, I'm 5'11"- wish I had me that extra inch

i noticed that too. i am the runt of the litter as far as height goes. my brother 1s 15 and he's 6'4" 225, my sister is 13 and she is 5'7" and my dad is 6'6". while i'm sitting here at 6', 270lbs. god i feel like a little shit compared to them. here's the thing though, and i don't know if it makes a differance, but i started lifting hard at 14, i'm 19 now. none of them have really even lifted before. so maybe

I'M 6'2 and started training in my teens. I didnt learn what real intense training until I saw an old friend walk into my gym when I was 21. The bastard was a stick in HS and was a fucking monster coming in at 50-60lbs heavier.
BTW my dad is 5'7,mom is 5'1 (if that),and my older brother is 5'9 and about 170-175. I'm the damn milkmans kid or something.

Maybe the reason most people on the board are between 5'6"-5'8" is because they cannot grow taller, so they just grow wider. It makes sense to me. Added mass gives the illusion of height. Just a theory.

I'm 5'6" and my dad and little bro are the same and my mom is 5'3"

So it's not the training or the gear just the genes.

It's easy for me to look bulky. At 196lbs I look like I weigh alot more than I really do.

Big arms and big legs is an advantage of being short.

Although lots of girls prefer taller guys! Oh well I get by

The ideal height for Bodybuilding is 5'10 in my opinion (YATES)

The moral?

It doesn't matter whether you are a lion or a gazelle, when the sun comes up - you had better be running.

I'm 23 and just a tad over 5'8", but my dad is 5'4" and my mom is 5'7" so it's nothing to do with lifting or gear.

Started lifting when I was 12

Started juicing when I was 16....(29 now..I am in the old guys section)
I am 5'9" 242lbs when I am lean, right now during my current bulking cycle, I am weighing 270+

Never had any major side effects, except maybe some of you guys would say I am a little "undertall" that's ok though.

5'11" 240 Lbs down from 250
Bigger is better and it's not the height that counts!
For some reason I think it's easier for us shorter dudes to pack on mass.

5'8 226 this morning
up from 214 last 4 weeks.

WISH I WAS 6'2 280

But I know that will not happen ... at least the 6'2 part. A lot of guys hitting the 250 off weight these days. and still showing veins. Must be the EAS

5'11 and currently 235. I started lifting when I was 16, I am 30 now. My brother is 6'3, so I guess I stunted my growth a bit, I did my first cycle at 18.

Been lifting on and off for about 12 years.
I strongly disagree with anyone under 20 hitting the AS, You guys are definately still maturing physically and your male muscle has not fully developed. Wait a few years and you'll be much happier with the results. Not to mention you have enough pressure and testosterone for all of us, at that age. I wouldn't play with the AS until the bone plates close and you fill out naturally. Just a word to the wise, some of the 14-16 year old guys on this board are playing with fire and should be told to wait!!!!!!
