do you ever regain your soul? Been juic'n for a while now, know the risks I'm takin',but can you ever go back when you've crossed over to the dark side? The compliments-'look'n good, bro!', the second glances from women, the sense of invincibility, etc., etc. The price we pay for the pact we've made. In the end, and yes, there will always be an end, can we look back on the deal and say it was worth it? Hell, YES!!! If you've ever read Milton, you konw what I'm about to say. "It's better to rule in Hell than to serve in Heaven." How do you feel about your pact with the Devil? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I'm with Slopain, bro, juice isn't "evil," it's an effective way to reach the goals that we have. I, for one, have fallen in love with the sport of bodybuilding--and I do it for me, not for trophies, money, or anything else! I think you're thinking is a bit jaded...no flame, just my opinion! ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

What exactly is wrong with steroid use? Man's Law is not necessarily God's Law. Taking AS is like wearing a coat in the winter or taking an asparin for a headache. You do not need to use it but it will help if used. Don't be a sheep!! Think for yourself. Therefore, no Sin and no Hell!!!

I think what 17alpha is saying is that in todays social climate A/S seem evil to most. And to most if you take A/S you are dancein' with the devil. There is a price we pay. It's a lifestyle we choose to live. We eat differentto say the least. We have a different believe system, we all know of the sacrifices we make. And the benefits we reap. Like a deal with the so called devil. I have to say I love to lift. But not for the sake of lifting. If you didn't grow, would you still lift? Hell no! It's all the benefits we get that keeps us going. It ain't wrong and it ain't right. It's a choice to be swole and I think everyone here made the right chioce. That's just my opinion. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Hey, fellas, the Devil's just a metaphor for facing the consequences of our actions, that's all. Juice in the US, at least, is illegal. It's not a question of good and evil, it's the simple truth that when you juice in the US without a prescription, you're brakin' the law. My question is this, do you feel a bit uneasy about using a banned substance? Let's face it, we're a very small minority and the majority's not very sympathetic to our cause. Taking into account the health risks and social climate concerning AAS use, do you regret your decision? Can you ever go clean again? Sorry for the confusion. BTW, I don't mind criticism. I consider it a chance to rethink my position or clarify my views. As the Human Torch would say, "Flame on!" ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

You know .. this topic has sparked a rant for me. I work in the medical field, at a hospital specializing in cancer treatment. Everyday I treat patients that are slowly dying from a disease that has no easy cure. I guess you become desensitived to it after a while but I often hear "why did this happen to me?" And often it is a sad case where u will treat young children that really are a victim in every sense of the word. But there are times, which I really hate myself, when I think, "Duh, you weigh 270, are like 40% BF and have never exercised in your life. I wonder why you have a disease which is, in my opinion, often brought on by an increadably shitty diet, smoking, and overall non-healthy lifestyle. What does this have to do with us? Well I was talking to a peer of mine yesterday and he had interviewed me a year ago (almost to the day) for this job and asked how I had changed my physical appearence since that time. (I weighed about 235, ~18% BF and I have cut to 170, ~9%). I know this guy fairly well and was completely open about my training and supplimentation (u know creatine =). Well he goes off on a fuckin tirad about how I'm being a irresponsible health care practitioner and that I should know better being surrounded by patients whose conditions are not "their fault." Needless to say I guess this is the true origin of "**** rage." I mean Jesus Christ, we all kill ourselves in the gym, eat like either fuckin cows being stuffed for the slaughter house or runway models and know more practical biochemistry than most MD's do, (trust me we ALL do). Personally, I haven't had a drop of alcohol for a year and I'M fucking my liver up with orals... yeah right. Society, physically, is as sick as it is due to LAZINESS. Yet, us, those who try to build ourselves to peak condition are the ones prosecuted (both by the law and by the general public) because we are the antithesis of slothness. Fuck that. If so ... I'll dance with the devil MY WAY anyday. Take Care gentlemen, ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Yo, Yikes!!! Loved your reply, bud. Glad to know that someone in the medical profession's got some good ol' common sense. Let's face it, it doesn't take a genius to figure out that the majority of those in hospital are there because of the choices they've made in life - be it donuts or alcohol or devils or pipers for all I care. Bottom line is, it's your call. Oh, yeah, ketosis sucks, but the carbo phase is pure bliss! Well, at least, to a point, cuz it ain't always easy to have your cake and eat it, too. Know what I mean? We'll talk a bit more when you're out of ketosis. [This message has been edited by 17alpha (edited November 04, 2000).] ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Hell of a reply Yikes. It should be required reading for all the overweight people who smoke, drink and don't give a damn about diet, and then think that people on steroids are stupid. I mean what is more stupid, trying to better your body the best you can or slowly destroying it day after day? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Well I think there regulating the wrong substance if they realy cared about america they would ban cigs & alcohol years ago cigs will kill and the second hand smoke can kill others and alcohol used wrong kill others but big money talks and polititions listen and besides that in the past I've been on alot of meds for injury and to read the sides on some of these meds blew my mind everything from cancer to edema , seizures etc so my opinion is that just because gov reg A/S don't mean thats anyworse than the stomach med (Prilosec) that can help stop the acid or could cause cancer I DON'T think A/S are EVIL or I wouldn't do it because there is nothing worth losing our souls over NOTHING because the bible tells us that if any thing effects our walk with JESUS get rid of it if the eye does pluck it out for it is better to go to Heaven with one eye than to hell with both so 17alpha DON'T ever make a pack with the devil because you will never rule in hell and everyone that goes there will not be worried about how big or small the other person is because you will be to busy screaming FOR EVER AND EVER ,Plese Jesus help us all.Now lets get Big bros but lets not ever forget JESUS HE DIED FOR US HES THE BIG GUY we are the wimps. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Jesus doesn't need to juice, he can just call like 10 thousand angels to help him out if he wants. And you ever see those angels man?? they're huge! like 6'2" and 240lbs, and maybe a reasonable 10% bf, all this natural mind you. You don't mess with them guys, that's for sure... ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
