Anyone have any ideas on whether it would be worth it to take finasteride during a cycle? Lets not just talk about this in terms of cost but effectiveness. Since the body tries to lower abnormally high testosterone levels through aromatization into estrogen, progesterone and DHT, it would make sense that taking arimidex, RU486 and finasteride (proscar) would make a lot of sense. Anybody actually tried the proscar/finasteride during a cycle? What was the effect on acne? Also did it have a noticeable effect on muscle growth (via the body's lesser ability to lower serum test.) I would think that this effect would only be apparent after quite a while (long cycle). Also, anyone know the same things about Saw Palmetto? PYgeum? Please give any info and experience.    | ||

I used proscar on a cutting cycle with test and I really couldn't tell whether or not it made a difference. I just take it to protect my hair and my prostate. Give it a try about half-way through your cycle and see if you notice any differences by adding it in. It seems like there are so many factors involved with using test like shbg, aromitization, etc. that proscar wouldn't really make much of an impact on your gains. Later,  | ||

If you are not on Deca, and doing Test @ 500 mg/ week - use 1.25mg EOD. If using a gram/wk - use 2.50 mg EOD. ------------------ The moral? It doesn't matter whether you are a lion or a gazelle, when the sun comes up - you had better be running. | ||

USe it if you have Test in there, skip it if you have deca with the test. Protect that hairline and the prostrate. I always use it. Slopain | ||

Why is everyone saying its bad to use finasteride with Deca? Will it make the deca not effective? | ||

Shadow is mostly right, the only time it might be beneficial is if you have a HIGH TEST to a very low deca ratio. Even still its a guessing game as to how much actually converts.
