I know I have asked this once befor but I'm asking again just in case others think different. My question or situation is, I'm going into a paramedic program next fall semester and the school requires that you be drug tested or screened, in order to be excepted you must pass the test. I'm wondering if they test for juice or if firehalls test their employees for juice. When I have asked this in the past mostly everyone says their 99.9% sure that they don't. Anybody disagree with that? Or care to challange it.     | ||

The EMTP program will most likely use a cheap test that detects typical street drugs like meth, pot, and barbituates. Most employee drug tests are of this sort. I have heard these cost $40 whereas the more advanced tests can cost as much as $400-$500. Not that this is relevent to your question, but it may give you a little comfort. Good luck in school and don't get behind in your clinical hours. bb |
