This year in wrestling we have to take a body fat test before this season. Then they will tell us how much weight we can "safely" lose, of course in wrestling we dont like this. So before we do the test would it be a good idea to dehydrate a little? will this affect the body fat percentage so the doctor will lets us wrestle lower? ------------------ "I cried when I had no shoes, until I met a man who had no feet. If memory serves, I figured it out using the underwater weighing equation that water loss causes a slight increase in body density. Nothing major. Peace! ------------------ | ||

it means that dehydrating yourself is bad for your body, that it is ok for making weight, but it won't make you seem fatter. If you do underwater weighing, swallow a bunch of air first. That will make you seem fatter, same with gas. It might make your skin loose and give bigger skinfolds, or it might make them smaller who knows? ------------------ | ||
