A friend is planning to go there. any info on what might be available and at what prices? I think Diver was familiar with the area, but haven't seen him lately, Can anyone share something info wise?     | ||

See a thread from a few days ago: https://www.elitefitness.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/035485.html If it helps, I spent a week across the ferry from Cozumel in Playa del Carmen this summer and found the farmacias in the main tourist area to have high prices ($16 sust rediject for example) and a limited selection. And Playa is not nearly as popular with tourists as Cozumel, so it's probably even worse there. The best bets are to find a vet store or farmacia away from the tourist areas, but foreigners need to be very careful. Scooter rentals are very popular on Cozumel, so traveling around the island isn't difficult. somec is right, Playa del carmen is better..alot better, you can negotiate better there also, or you can gom35 minutes south towards tulum, there are little Pharms on the road in the middle of nowhere!! buy some fanta drink too!! LOl |
