I HAVE NOT BEEN CAUGHT, BUT A WEEK AGO I CAME VERY CLOSE. AS I WAS GOING THRU THE BORDER I HAD SOME GEAR ATTATCHED VERY CLOSE TO MY NUT SACK AND REGIONS NEAR BY. I WAS ASKED THE USUAL QUESTIONS AND THE NORMAL BS. THEN HE DECIDE TO CHECK MY POCKETS AND MISSED A BOTTLE OF DECCA BY A HALF INCH. I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO FRIEKED IN MY LIFE. I WAS WONDERING WHO HAS BEEN CAUGHT BRINGING GEAR ACROSS AND WHAT EXACTLY HAPPENED? I HAVE HEARD SO MANY HORROR STORIES. I WOULD JUST LIKE TO HEAR SOME FIRST HAND EXPERIENCES. THANKS BROS.    | ||

If its personal use they will slap you on the wrist and give you a $500 fine (i think thats the amount) I haven't been caught though. It doesn't go on your record so thats good, if your bringing more than just personal - things get more serious. BTW, the first thing they always assume is your amount of gear isnt personal and is for intent to sell. Slopain  | ||

I dunno, Slopain. Remember that thread last summer by N2Deep (or something like that!)? Unless that was all BS, that brother got caught coming across the border with a small amount, and had as I remember a legitimate scrip for some of the gear, and he was still looking at $10k in legal fees, minimum, as well as a felony rap. A good tip is not to come across the border during the day. Stay in TJ until late night (go to the clubs or tittie bar) then come back with the drunken party crowd. The border is on skeleton shift and they usually don't hassle anyone. | ||
