Mine is pretty high at around 150/84 the last time I checked. I'm a little worried, and would like to know what some of the other bro's have done about this.

I'm into my 2nd week of sust(500)/deca(400)/dbol(6). I've backed off the dbol to 5/day now. My reading in the morning is around 130/80, but as the day goes on so does my BP, apparently.

I don't have any insurance, so I can't go see the doc for BP med.

What would you do?

Try taking Dandelion Root to relieve some water retention - and watch your sodium intake.

Every morning in Africa, a lion wakes up. It realizes that it must run faster than the slowest gazelle, or it will starve to death.

The moral?

It doesn't matter whether you are a lion or a gazelle, when the sun comes up - you had better be running.

You don't think I should be worried at 150/84?

I am.

Do you think some cardio after my workouts (4/week) would help? Maybe 15-20 min.

BTW, is it the water retention that's causing the high BP?

Cardio could possibly help as well as drinking a lot of water. Water retention has given me headaches as well as elevated BP.

Mine was 164/86 yesterday at the doctor's office when I had some warts frozen off, I just gave him some sh*t about taking ephedrine to make him think I was a stupid kid...I'm on my last week of dbol and know that it's going to go down when I lose some water...gaining 30 pounds in a month reaks havoc on your joints, and your blood pressure... I might start taking an aspirin every day, too, just to thin the blood out a bit...just my 2 cents...

When I come off the dbol, the sust will be kicking in. Won't I retain water from that? Then I'll be back where I started?

When I researched my cycle and everything, blood preasure never occured to me. Stupid. Live and learn I guess.

...You think thinning the blood with asprin will help bp?

Thanks for the help everyone.

Anybody else have something to say about this? What about the asprin idea. I was actually thinking of that myself.

Hope I don't make you too mad but you can afford to juice and don't have enough money to see a doctor or get some meds. you might need for a couple months ? What happens if you get an infection or something do you plan on just letting it go till your hospitalized or dead ? This isn't a flame but sometimes you just can't afford not to go to the doctor, bro.

Peace

A few thoughts.

I've battled slightly high BP for a number of years too. The dbol will elevate your BP more than the sust.

Make sure that you're getting your readings from both arms, I get a slightly different reading in each. Track your BP weekly for atleast 6 weeks before you get overly concerned.

Look closely at your diet. A high protein diet will tax your kidneys which will cause high BP. If you track your food intake and compare it to your BP reading, I will bet that you find a correlation. This was my case anyway. My last check up showed my at 159 / 80.

BPP

That's not high. As long as your LOW pressure stays under 10 it's ok. Your HIGH should not raise above 14, but better to have 15 and a low 8.4, then 14 high and 10 lower part. The high part is not that important.
Try to avoid pills to lower it. Too much bad sides. Just my experience with it.

BBP you just beated me on this one. As you say BP can give a different result alternating the arms, but lying down when the BP is taken helps too. But i found out that taking your BP yourself at home any time of day gives you the best result. Afterall i used to take mine about 6-8 times a day, but when going to the doctor it was always higher. I even took my BP meter with me to the doc's office and yes both measurements, with his machine and mine gave the same results.
So one is more nervous (without knowing or feeling it) than one thinks in the doc' office.

another problem that I dont have yet.....but some of you vets might......is make sure they are using a larger size blood pressure cuff if you have the "BIG GUNS". That cuff they measure grandmas arm with will give a higher than normal reading on someone with arms probably larger than 18" or so.
Just my 2cents.

I saw someone else on the board had the same experience once and the larger cuff made a difference.

My BP meter goes around the wrist. So arm size that can affect the results (because of the big arms) are out of the question.

Samian, do a search in the "Archived" topics, not the active ones, and you'll find a few good threads...like I said, it was just Monday that I started to worry about mine, and the aspirin idea was one that I found on a post by Dr. Atlas...he even stated that one should always take an aspirin during a cycle to keep blood from getting too thick and clotting...just my 2 cents, an ACE inhibitor is also said to be your best bet, but without insurance, I understand your dilemna!

Try to relax as much as possible, drink lots and lots of water...more than you think that you can handle. Watch your diet for a few days and see if you can tell a difference. I do not like doing cardio, so I used to go sprint a little 2x a week to hit my heart very very hard. I felt really really relaxed after this and my bp would be lower for a few days after. Just go through some trial and error. my 2c

Yes, I did a search. I looked at about 7 topics, but ran out of time. will hit it again later.

Dare I say this:
I've been using the walmart bp machine. I know, I know...probably not the most reliable, especially since I can barely fit my arm in it. But I must say that I used my aunts cuff and scope last night and I started hearing my pulse at 150. I did it at least 6 times and it was the same. I never used that method before so it was a little ackward. Any tips using a cuff and stethoscope?

Every time that you take it with a cuff and a scope...in a short time period...it will read higher.

While you're searching you might want to also look for SSmans cycles. If I remember right he had some good methods he used to keep bp down and he gained a shitload of weight on his last cycle. Good luck!

84 diastolic?

I was born with that low of a BP!

Shit man I'm sure there are some people on this board that have their diastolicabove 110 as we speak!

I wouldn't be worried about shit!!!

Get an HMO, so you can get blood tests before and after all of your cycles!

Ifa doc would to see your BP at 84 dia and 150 syst, he wouldn't even recommend any treatment because it is not high!! It is in the high normal range however! So you fine! Chill out

what is your BP normally?
