Bro's, my weights have gone up so fast, its causing havok for my joints, specifically in my elbows/forearm. Should i use specific stretches for these joints? ALso, I take glucosamine everyday, over a gram of it. Any help would be appriciated.

Try adding some Deca, EQ, or better yet GH to your stack, resources providing. Otherwise try flax-seed oil or MSM.

The moral?

It doesn't matter whether you are a lion or a gazelle, when the sun comes up - you had better be running.

You can try some Deca, like shadow said. Also i read in some causes your joints can hurt if your not getting enough omega 3FA. Thats where the Flax-seed oil, can help. If my joints get bad, i take anti-flammitory(sp) med.

Ibuprofen (motrin) and/or aspirin (well, on cycle you should take an aspirin a day anyway). You can take 2 grams of ibuprofen a day no problem if it doesn't mess up your stomach. Apply ice to the sore joints, 15 minutes at a time. Elevate your legs above your heart when you have the chance. Hope it helps. Peace!

Dr. Atlas -

Why do you recommend taking 1 apsirin per day?

I believe in one aspirin a day for the blood thinning properties. Many AS cause the blood to thicken and become more prone to clotting, which can cause problems. Peace!

Nutrimuscl:

You say the main problem is in your elbows, so this may be tendonitis. Some lifts will aggravate that condition more than others, so try to monitor how your elbows are feeling after every workout, see if you can isolate the culprit. For me, cable-crossovers fuck up my elbows royally! Don't know why, since I can preacher curl and supine curl to beat the band, but let me do a couple of sets of crossovers and I'm screwed for weeks!

Bottom line: The brothers are giving you a lot of good advice about supplements and medications, but don't forget to study what it is that you're doing in the gym that's bringing this on. A little detective work on your part, and laying off a lift that's bad for you, will pay off big time!

Be well, be happy, and lift heavy.

I would use some type of antiinflammatory before I went to the gym such as, Motrin, Aleve, etc. Always remember to stretch between sets. If that does not work go to the doc and get some prednisone, works wonders for me.

Bjaark:

Thanks for the info. My elbow seems to hurt after I perform Bench Press. When the sust hit me, my bench shot way the hell up. Ive never felt anything like it before. I cranked out a lot of weight. The next day, my elbow started hurting a little bit. Maybe I should wear a brace on my elbow? I remember its kinda like the feeling i get when i play tennis for too long.

deca always makes my joints feel great. Thats one reason I cycle. My knees kill all year except when I do a cycle, especially when deca is included.

im assuming that u were taking a tablet form of glucosamine?a lot of people seem not to respond to glucosamine supplementation in tablet form due to poor absorption...id recomend taking a powdered product(personally recomend one called synovicell by gearsports i believe) its supposed to have about a 95% absorption rate as opposed to 20-40 % w/ tabs...plus the synovicell has msm and chondroitin in it...its great stuff...try it out..hopes this helps u out buddy.
