yesterday i injected my sust and EQ for the 5th time..it was a total of 5ccs in my glute but only this time i had a big lump inside but i figured that because it has not yet expanded throughout.. well i woke up this morning and it is still there and iching like a bitch... do any of you know what this is... i used a 22g 1"     | ||

Possibly you hit some scar-tissue which could not hold that volume. Think of it as a sub-cut injection. Heating pad will help. ------------------ The moral? It doesn't matter whether you are a lion or a gazelle, when the sun comes up - you had better be running. | ||

5cc with 1 inch dart??! I don't think that's deep enough in the tissue bro. A lot of it may have came out of the tissue causing the irritation. I don't know but I'd keep my eye on it closely. Later, Green | ||

I'd just say that is an oil abcess. I can never inject without getting a little lump on the glutes. Sust and Nor200 give me lumps that last 3-5 days and itch like hell. That's normal...growing pains man. | ||

Next time split the injection up. 5cc's in one glute is too much. D. | ||

I'm with green 5cc's with a 1" dart is not a good idea. It's going to be hard to find a good spot that close to the surface to put 5cc's. I just posted this... You might have (and with 5cc's probably did) rupture a vein. The pressure of the oil can do that if you inject next to it. This causes a painful lump that will last about a week. | ||

Agreed, 5cc's to much for one area. Split the volume next time and save yourself this grief. Nothing to do but sit and wait now. | ||

i am already spliting up 10ccs... i have injected this about 5 times already and no prob. all i can get is 1" pins.. well i guess i better look around harder huh... thanks guys -MIKE- | ||

www.carecenter.com you can get 1 1/2 inch pins there. you need to go deeper, you might have injected to close to a vein like said above...it happened to me and hurt like hell with just a 3 cc injection. shaw | ||

yea, its an oil absess. The deeper I injected the less painfull it is also...so it would be a good idea to get longer darts. tb | ||

okay i went to that sight and all i can find was the syringe part. so i clicked on it and it said this on the top: 5cc Luer-Lok Syringes Sorry: At this point in time we are not able to ship syringes directly to customers in California and Illinois without a doctors verifiable prescription. i live in california, and it said nothing about needles, but i can keep trying.... -MIKE- | ||

Myself I use a 25ga 1/12 you have to take it slow but no lumps or itching here in Louisiana there is no problems getting pins just walk in a buy what you want its strange to hear you guys talk about having trouble getting them. | ||

I have the same problem with carecenter Mike cause I am in the other state they won't ship to. You can use the 1"s you have just don't go over 3cc's with them. At least until you find bigger darts. | ||

Avoid that area for awhile.5 cc's is too much for a one inch dart.If you recently read my post(911 VERY URGENT MATTER).This may have serious consequences.My friend developed an abcess from injecting 3 cc's,every 3 days,into the same glute. He developed a golfball in there that would not dissipate.He had to get it drained by a doc ------------------ | ||

Mike, Mike, Mike, you have not looked hard enough in your home town, trust me on this one bro. E-mail me if you have to. By the way, just a little bit of advice in case you didn't know, when you push on the plunger, do it slowly and not hard. My rule for injection sites is 3-3.5 cc's per ass cheek, 2-2.5 cc's per quad, 1-1.5 cc's per shoulder. |
