i'm interested in how much fat you usually gain in 8-12 weeks.i was also wandering what you bros do to keep fat gain under control and when is the case to worry about it. i already got a fair bit of fat and i started 10 days ago.Would you say going from 12% to 20% in 8 weeks would be too much? | ||

gaining 8% bodyfat during a 12-week cycle is unacceptable if you're eating like you should, there is no way you'll gain that much fat. there is such thing as overeating on a mass cycle, and if you do overeat, while you are getting the fat off after your bulking cycle you will also be losing some of that hard-earned mass you gained eat lots, but don't go overboard with the candy and junkfood ------------------ | ||

Figure out what works for you...I'm eating a ton right now, am up 30 pounds in the first 29 days of my cycle, and only 5 pounds of that has been fat! Monitor what you eat and how it affects your bodyfat %, but I agree, 20% bodyfat is VERY UNHEALTHY! ------------------ | ||

I personaly make a dramatic fat gain, but my body will only get so fat, then it quits. I don't think I'm able to get really fat. It is all dependant upon what your body does. What works for me will not work for probably almost everybody reading this. | ||

Man I am eating shit all day fast food (all high in protein) and I swear to god Im losing or at the very least maintaining bf%, just by looks - haven't measured yet. I guess a gram of test helps out a bit =) Slopain | ||

I think about 0.5% bodyfat a week increase is acceptable. Only until you get to 15% then God Damn dough boy get on a diet So in 8 weeks going up 4% is ok for me. From 12-16% but like I said once I get past 10% I start feeling uncomfortable about the way I look. 12% is my max now and that means love handles but still seing abs for me... strange shit!!! ------------------ | ||

sorry pharm you're right, i just wanted to clear up. i think i'm gaining much more than 0.5% a week...i 'll have to slow down the mcdonalds a bit. |
