This is my current training routine. I'm planning on a cycle soon and I'm wondering if my current training will do.

A - chest (8-12 total sets, most to failure)
flat, incline, dips
back (8-12 total sets, most to failure)
pulldowns, rows, weighted chins
calf (6-8 sets to failure, hi&low reps)

B - Deadlift (5-7 work sets, 5-10 reps)
Lunge or squat (5-7 work sets, 5-15 reps)
Military press (5-7 work sets, 5-15 reps)

I take 1-2 days off after each work out, so on average I do 3 workouts/wk. I throw in abs and arms as I feel its needed. I also run stairs 1-2 times/wk. thx

What are you going for, strength, mass, endurance. I think you are lacking in all aspects. If yi=ou are hitting a mucle group once a week you need at least 15 set

Its more often then once/wk. Once every 5-6 days.
