Actually the contest wasn't a waste for me. I lost 15 lbs of fat and gained 10 lbs of muscle in 3 months. My body responded well since that was the first real time I worked out seriously. Since then, it's been nominal gains. I'm going to start a cycle soon to combat these minimal gains and would like to use the caliper just to keep up with things before and after. ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

Actually I can get accurrate bodyfat % every time even with cheap plastic calipers, as compared to underwater weighing. For one thing you need good technique. The Jackson and Pollack 5 or 7 fold techniques both work good. I will try to post that info tomorrow.
