I have a friend who is going to compete in his first contest. Right now he is 3 1/2 weeks out of the contest. I tell him to do more cardio, and cut on the carbs..but he believes that he can eat anything before he works out, after working out he will eat right (high protein low carb). He is on Winstrol and Clenbuterol..and soon to take Xenadrine two weeks b4 contest. I dont think he will get that ripped..by what he is doing right now. Am i right or wrong? Bros give me your Feed back...thanks. ![]() ![]() ![]()

He can always pull a Paul Dillett thing to save face. you know show up looking like shit and then "lock up" on stage to be carried off. Live and learn is the best teacher. I bet he doesn't show up for the night show. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

That's ridiculous! The last 3 1/2 weeks are so important, he should be dieting hard, no matter what drugs he's taking! What's his bodyfat %...weight?? Is he close to what he wants to be for the show?? Sounds to me like he's gonna have to learn the hard way--but most of the time that's the best teacher! ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

he's 5'8 currently 180-185 target weight is 175-178. His Bf is around 7-8% I told him to stop eating those Gourment Budget Microwave foods. ![]() ![]() ![]()

If he is 7% assume he can lose about 2% max for the contest if he does everything perfect for the last 24 days. I competed at 5% and I really felt out of place. That is pretty soft for a competition bodybuilder assuming you are using 7 skin folds on the calipers as a guide. ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I COMPETED AT 2.5%.The last 3 weeks are vital and so is slow carb depletion. the last week with water and carb depletion you will lose bodyfat but to be at 7% 3 weeks out will hurt him big time as the muscle he has will fly off from crash dieting. as another poster mentioned 5 % on stage will not cut it period. the only way to learn is to show up and have him see for himself. YOU ARE SOOOOO RIGHT ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
