There have been a few people that have told me DNP helps clear receptors. Can anyone back that up?

Also, i am getting ready to do a nice cycle of it... Will i lose any muscle mass on it?

slopain, just curious who said it does? according to bill roberts there is zero evidence for androgen receptor downregulation in response to high dose AAS.

I dont know if I side with Bill Roberts on that one. Any time you raise free levels of receptor regulated product, ie steroid hormone, the body will attempt to maintain its homeostatic function by decreasing receptor sensitivity aka down regulation. This is seen with chronic dosages which provide constant elevated levels. Maybe he was refering to a acute bout.

DNP is muscle sparing. there are even cases of a rebound effect once the DNP cycle is over.

indeed it is, but what does that have to do with the issue of receptor cleansing?

When you say DNP is muscle sparing, you mean it doesn't cause muscle loss?

receptor sites actualy upregulate, but your body does try to stay in homeostaces by raising your cortisol levals. this is why your gains slow down at the end of the cycle and why when you start a new cycle you gain all of your lost mass back very quickly

"There have been a few people that have told me DNP helps clear receptors."

They are wrong and they don't understand receptor physiology.

"Can anyone back that up?"

Nope. They simply saw a reaction from DNP use and they made the leap in logic that 1+1=3.
