I was in the middle of a cycle 6 mths ago and I was benching heavy on monday night..I strained my left shoulder pretty bad . the pain was in my trap and shoulder..I continues to finish my workout with eavy dumbells due to the fact that my shoulder went kind of numb. I tryed to work out through the week but the pain was to intense..I layed off until monday and the pain was still there..I went to a regular doctor and the xrays came back negative. he gave me some anti inflamatories and sent me to therapy for 1 day so I acould learn some rehab excersises..He said if this didnt help I would need an MRI. Well unfortunately the anti inflamatories didnt help but since I didnt have med insurance at the time, I didnt return to the doctor because I was afraid the price might get outrageous..Ive been layed off the wight s for 6 mths now and I jsut started hitting the gym about 2 weeks ago to try an get all the soreness out so I could begin my cycle which I started yesterday. The first 2 weeks I didnt feel much pain in my shoulder and then last night it started hurting a great deal more than it had been. I was just now getting to where I could sleep on my left side without pain..Anyway my injury is obioulsy pretty serious,,But in no way am I going to stop this cycle and lay off the weights again. My mind will not allow me to do so..Ive lost about 15 to 20 lbs in the last 6 mths and Ive got to put it all back..What I want to no is,,would deca help my shoulder out any?? I just want to take enough to mask my injury so I can at least finish this cycle and then I will get done whatever needs to be done..If it will help,,what dosage should I take?? remember I just want enough to help my shoulder from hurting..Heres what Im currently on..
omna 750 mgs 1-8
dbol 35mgs day 1-6
eq 300 mgs 3-8
maybe anavar at wk 5 through 10..
Any help is appreciated..thanks guys...Bam Bam

I need to add that the pain exsists right where my clavicle meets the shoulder bone..and although I can feel it eternally,,it hurts worse at the top off the bone,,right under the skin..When I press on it,, it really hurts..It feels like it is going to totally collapse when I do chest..

I get the same pain - although not as bad. I was told that my constant training has basically worn-out the tip of my colar bones. My doctor said its like tennis elbow and probably wont go away until I start training like a "normal" person.

Let me know if you find out its something more serious. Im working through the pain right now! I dont want to permenantly fuck my colar bone up if Im causing serious damage.

Hope this helps bro.

Very common injury. Many lifters get it from flat straight bar bench. The only way to heal is to take time off and rebuild the area. I believe it is the olecronon process that is the cause of your problem (spelling might be wrong). Had it myself a few times. I went to doing dumbell bench, lower weight still 6-8 reps but with a 5 second negative instead. The better technique helped with the pain and eventually I bult back up to being able to do flat. You have to stretch the shoulders for about 15 minutes before benching or shoulders and than warm up with some push ups and light weight. I found military was the hardest exercise after my shoulder injury. I was forced to only do Arnolds for a pressing exercise. After a month of light weight, strict 5 second reps I was back. Staying on the anti inflamitories is a good idea as well. If it is what i had, there is no surgery for it. It is more like a spained ankle and just takes time to heal. Good Luck

I can't tell you "what you want to hear" bro, you know this is the wrong thing to do. Be smart and focus on the long-term.

Later,

Truthfull if you are determined to finish this cycle you had better make it very good because this could be your last if you don't let it heal properly. My two cents. Take it or leave it.

Good luck

If the xray was neg. Then there is soft tissue damage and only an MRI can tell you to what degree. It could be a mild tear in your rotator cuff or a half dozen other things. The point is, it maybe an injury that will heal naturally. If worsened it may require surgury(something I try to avoid)
If I were you, Id lay off the juice, find exercises that dont exacerbate the symptoms, and find a way to get the MRI. This way you dont do further damage and find out exactly whats wrong. Just an opinion, The Freak

Email me and I'll give you the best online evaluation I can. Tell pain onset, quality, mechanism of injury, aggravating/relieving factors, etc. You did a decent job with first post, if you could paste it into your letter and add anything else that would be cool. I'll give you some tests and we'll come up with a tentative diagnosis and treatment. Good luck bro. Peace!

Deca helped with my sore shoulder immensely...HOWEVER, I took time off and did a lot of rehab beforehand...do you have health insurance now?

If so, get some physical therapy. Stop your cycle as well. Save the gear. Your pain is going to intensify to the point that you will have to stop then your hormones will screwed, your shoulder will be screwed, your money will be wasted.

Yes it is tough to deal with the temporary weight loss and stuff. But, in reality that is not much compared to a lifelong injury.

Rehab that shoulder bro!
