Ok, i just had a little package arrive at my PO box. Had it sent Express mail with the signature waived. I have done this before with NO problems at all. Here is why i am so paranoid: I typed in the tracking number, and it said this:

"We attempted to deliver your item at 10:33 am on October 21 in -----------------and a notice was left. A second delivery attempt will be made. If unsuccessful, we will hold it for five business days and then it will be returned to the sender. "

WTF? This doesnt make sense to me because last time i got an express mail package, they put a key in my po box and i had to go unlock a large locker at the rear of the post office. My box was just too small, and the package would not fit. Why didnt they do that this time i wonder? I just dont want to have to pick the package up at the front desk! I will freak out! Even if the signature is waived, will they still make me sign if i go to the front? Is there some place i can look on the package to see where he checked off the signature, so that if they ask me to sign i can point to it and say HELL NO!? Can somebody help a bro out?

Same thing happened to me. I went right then and picked it up, I gave the lady at the desk my slip they left, and she went and got my package and gave it to me, no signatures needed, and she didn't ask for an i.d. either.

No need to be paranoid. Just take your slip up and pick it up. They can't touch you because one you didn't sign for it and two you can take it home and write return to sender on the package. Many people from experience told me that they come within 48 hours and if the package says return to sender that they can't touch you.

Hope this helps calm your nerves.

I don't care what you write on the package (rtn to sndr) and where you put it. If they wanna check your house because of that pack they can!!!!
As for you particular situation, it sounds like your ok. But there is a spot to look at to see if the sig is waived. On the address sticker (it's about 5"x8") right in the middle above the address it is addressed TO is a pink box that has the sig waiver in it. It should be checked and signed by the sender. Then the person recieving doesn't need to sign.

Well i picked up the package, and the lady made me sign for it! Even though i looked and it said the sig was waived! She went in the back room and got the package, and quickly came back out, so i am pretty sure everything is ok. She knows me too, and she wasnt acting weird at all. Do you think im going to be ok? I opened the damn box to check and make sure everything was inside it, and threw the box away where it cannot be found. Somebody was saying they come within 48 hours? Are you serious? What should i do? Take all my stash and hide it somewhere other than where i live? This is scaring me now.....Im such a dumb fuck. :(
