I did today for the first time and it really freaked me out. I injected in the glute, pulled back and got a little blood, pulled out the needle and found another spot. Ive been using gear for 3 yrs on and off and this is the first time this has ever happened. Hopefully it won't occur again. I think I am going to stick to shoulder and quads from now on..I can't see what the fuck I'm doing back in the glutes anyway.- Rojan

Bro, I've seen that a couple times. You just hit a vien. As long as you don't inject into it you're cool. Just move it to a different spot. Hell, my buddy did inject into a vein. He said he thought he was gonna die. He didn't die but I'm sure it ain't good.

its extremely rare to hit a vein in the glute,,I give 85% of my shots in the glute and have only hit a vein once or twice out of hundreds of shots..Bam Bam

I bled alot on my first cycle and had blood in the syringe (I always aspirate). It is somewhat disconcerting. When this happens, I prefer to stick a new needle in since the first one may have dulled, causing even more pain and bleeding the second time.

Anabolicum, try a thinner needle, you will be happier.

Hey

I also hit a vein not so long ago........and that was the first time out of around 50 odd jabs in the glute. I knew something was up cuz as soon as I pulled bck on the needle the thing slid up and when I looked down the thing was filling up with blood. Just pulled out and hit another spot with same pin ....no prblems

Relax. It's normal. You just popped a vein. Just stick it in another spot.

Jeff, I prefer the 16 gauge needles as I can also use them for crochet.

Dude you'd be far better off sticking to glutes rather than shooting in your shoulder or quads. There is far less chance of hitting a vein or a nerve in your glutes & in comparison to shoulder/delts, your glutes give you far more muscle tissue to absord the AS. How could you shoot 3-4 ccs in your delt---unless you are a huge fucker with 20" arms : )

Don't worry about it. I hit a vein two weeks ago, I pulled the needle out and blood ran down glute, leg and almost hit the floor! I was in shock, I just watched it for 30 seconds! Anyway, just pull out, clean up and try again! BTW, after I was done, I sat down and had dinner, I bled all over my sofa! I got up, looked down and there was blood the size of half dollar. The blood went thru my underwear (ruined) and then thru my workout shorts. (not ruined - they were black :-)Then I had to turn the sofa cushion over!!!

Fenian, nice work, what do you do when you ruin that new side of the cushion?? Place them sideways. . .I do the same shit, my dog pissed on the couch once and my chick would have gone mad so I cleaned it and thew it over. What they don't know won't hurt them. One thing I find, especially when injecting gluts is go slow, warm oil based AS to 100 degrees before putting in pin, and push needle in slowly, lower chance of hitting and passing through a blood vessel. If you do, and eventiallly we all do, pull out, use a new pin on the syringe and move an inch over. Good luck.
