Source says it's ok, just pick it up, it was
sent registered.

Postman picks up signed notice but just puts
another notice.

Not too keen on walking into a federal building with
id to sign for a damn illegal package.

(personal use amount, shipped to a fake name and address) will sign as "agent"?

My opinion would be not to send ANYTHING US Mail because that is a felony in itself. Have your guy send your gear UPS and not with USPS. I've heard of people using the US mail for anything criminal get the shaft. Stick with a private company suck as FED EX or UPS. Hope this helps, good luck getting your stuff..

I have had a couple bros get stuff via U.S. mail and they eventually got caught, sorta. What happened was they both (at seperate times) get this notice in the mail. It said something like "We have recived a package addressed to you that may contain illegal substances. If it yours please claim it, if not please sign this and return it and the package will be destroyed." At first I didn't believe it. But after my other bro told me the same story. I figured it was true. It seems only a total dumbass would claim the shit. So I hope this helps but I would always err on the safe side. You can't be too careful.

My source says it was sent priority......
and the notice did NOT say: package addressed to you that may contain illegal substances.

If I let the post office return and the source reship without signature required it will be 2-3 months.

Was the package sent domestic or foreign?

if it was sent from overseas, sometimes the post office requires a signature no matter which way the source sent it.....and they will not leave it until they get a signature..

I use USPS and have had no problems, all domestic sources. Than again I don't use my real name so I figure If I get the notice I can honestly say it isn't addressed to me.

If it was a small package then it should not be a problem.

Just go pick it up and enjoy it.

I would be careful about signing for it. That is how the feds prove possession. If a personal amount of gear is seized that was sent from overseas they usually just send you a letter and destroy the gear. When the gear is sent by regular USPS you shouldn't have to sign for anything.

Stuff, anything, from certain countries(Russia for one) always requires a signature for some reason. They wont leave it.
