Just had to ask, how many of us don't have to wrap our knees to keep them from shooting into the mirror during squats, or have to spend forever warming up our legs to prevent yet another torn muscle, or maybe taking anabolics to keep the joints from killing us from the outrageous weights we use because we are on in the first place? The examples go on and on, I'd just like some honest feedback for my own edification. thanks

I guess maybe just luck but I have no problems of any knid, I squat about 450 and have no problems with any joint. I dont tape anything. I do sometimes get a sore lower back from doing very heavy rows, but thats about it. I hope it stays that way.

You have to die someday. I would rather enjoy life with a superb body and risk living a little shorter than going through life a skinny pencil neck. I also chalk a lot of the reason I lift to expierence, I expierenced being skinny, did not like it. I have not really expierenced any side effects from gear as I am on my first cycle. But I dont think even if I did get some bad side effects I would stop.

We all have to die So have fun while it lasts

i would be surprised if over 25% of us don't have injuries. i'm a youngun and i already got a bum knee and elbow. to be honest i wouldn't be shocked if my right arm all out snaps on my next cycle but whatever, no risk no gain.

These aches and pains just go with the life style. Am I healthy enough to enjoy what I have worked for? Compared to the regular fat-asses my age, Damn straight.

I lucked out I guess because I don`t have any permanent injuries. I think the way people are these days, you can't do anything right. Everything gives you cancer or kills you. F*CK IT! I'll hit the gear and be huge rather than hit the buffet lines and be a fat ass. I bet I enjoy my body more than those turds super sizing their asses on the couch. Ask yourself, why do you think it's so easy to f*ck fat chicks?

It makes me feel old as fuck, all those joint pains. At night when Im watching tv laying on the floor and want to get up to get a drink or something, it feels like Im 500lbs, feel like an old man getting up. Hate that! Everything I do now takes warming up, you gotta get those fluids running inside your body, then once your warm its alright. But I would gladly put up with some pain and discomfort(to a point) rather than be just normal.

Whenever I start to wonder why I do it, this helps get me motivated.
"It is not the critic who counts, not the man who points out how the strong man stumbled or where the doer of deeds could have done better. The credit belongs to those who are actually in the arena, who strive valiantly; who know the great enthusiasm, the great devotions, and spend themselves in a worthy cause; who at the best, know the triumph of high achievement; and who, at the worst, if they fail, fail while daring greatly, so that their place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who know neither victory nor defeat."......Theodore Roosevelt

Interesting topic. I squat 425 for 8-12 reps and I have never wrapped. And bros, I mean REAL SQUATS, glutes -to- ankles. I have never had any type of bodybuilding injury before, though I have severely injured my back in a car wreck 5 years ago, but training and stretching has conditioned it to where I handle good poundages again, though I never go over 225 on bent over rows, then I usually about 15 reps there.

But I know some guys that are so injured racked that when they come off the juice they just can't function from all the joint pain. The only joint pain I have had was from using Halotestin, I swear I could have cut my right knee cap out with a piece of broken glass to relieve the pain. I have never used that stuff since.

Sore rotator cuff sometimes I get tendon pain in the forarm after heavy back with no straps. But this happened before AS actually before AS I was in my worst pain. I worked really hard and developed good natural muscle. Man somedays I would just lay at home with aching muscles and joints after a workout. Tried my first cycle of Test&deca in feb for 10 weeks. I'm still off and havent felt those pains since.

I am pretty lucky. I am 21 and healthy as can be. I always get checkups and blood tests to make sure. I have never had a major injury, although my ankle gets fucked up when playing football.

Thanks for the imput guys. I thought I was the only one who has beaten himself into submission in search of the ultimate body. Those of you who don't have the 17 years or so of training under their belt, I sincerely wish you all the luck and good fortune in 15 years from now that I have not been afforded. It has been an interesting road traveled. We learn a LOT about what we are made of when injured and forced to so what no ordinary man could or would to get ourselves back into shape. My body may be battered and torn, but my heart and desire is stronger than ever. God bless the iron game!!!

I am very happy with the way im turning out. the injuries i have are from unrelated to bodybuilding experiences. i think the juice helped with the healing process but then again it still hurts but not as much. im happy

at age of 33 with a slightly bulging lower disk in my back and a healed rotar cuff that still gives me trouble at times i am still healthy enough to enjoy all that comes from lifting...after 18 years of heavy lifting i can't complain too much....i chalk it up to experience, a little bit of genetics, and some luck.

Always said you cannot go past perfect form in order to make best gains and to limit injuries, i concede that injuries will still come but the likelihood of them happening is decreased with good form. it is what it is all about.
Of course i enjoy my results, being big suits the women quite well.
