There has been alot about keto diets on here lately, so why don't someone post a link where they can find everthing they want to know...Also, does anyone know about the use of alchol in a keto diet...I don't know if there is one or not, someone posted that ...thanks brothers

Not a bad idea to keep a post up about keto diets. Yes there have been dozens of posts already, but it would be nice to make a definitive post on the subject. So I'll give this a bump. Alcohol isn't great for ketosis as memory serves. I believe it will stimulate insulin release, which is bad. Some people think that since the shitty feeling your have the morning after is due to depleted gycogen stores, alcohol is good for ketosis. I don't buy it personally. Even if it was accurate there are better ways of going about it. Peace!

Alcohol can lower blood sugar. That's why it is not recommended with most anti-diabetic drugs. In my opinion, I don't think it would be of great use for a ketogenic diet.
