I've got the same problem. The only thing I've found that works it pre-exhaustion. Do a few sets of flyes or cable X-overs before bench so that the benching will hit the pecs harder. Only thing you have to watch out for with this approach is that when your pecs get tired you tend to let your front delts and tris take over, which is exactly what you want to avoid. If this is a big problem try flyes immediatley after. I've swithched back and forth between the two and it has definately helped.

Give it a shot...What have you got to lose?
Just mix up the excercises often. Sometimes I never do the same routine twice in a row...It works.

My chest is the most stubborn fucking muscle on my body. I hate it and it hates me. Here is my chest routine (1day/wk):

1 set of 20 pushups
4 sets of flat db/bb bench press
4 sets of incline db/bb press
3 sets of decline db/bb press
2 sets of decline/incline flyes
2 sets of cablexovers (upper pecs)
2 sets of cablexovers (lower pecs)
1 superset of 40 reps at low weight flat/incline (every 3rd week)

Every week, I switch from the dumbell to the barbell for the presses.

I've found that the less number of sets I do, and the heavier the weight is what makes my chest grow. I do 7 sets for chest and go heavy. 4 sets bench, 2 sets weighed dips, 1 set incline press.

I sometimes go one heavy one light day. The heavy day is low rep3-6 high weight only 10 sets of chest. Light day is 10-12 reps 12 sets very strict motion usually a 4 second negative on each lift. Also try switching between barbell, dumbell, flat, incline, decline, every week. Hope this helps.
