For the hell of it I had my BP taken a couple of weeks ago. I went to a blood bank and they calculated it with one of the automated cuff machines. 172/85 showed. I was shocked considering I was gear free. Had it tested at the same place the following morning to rule out afternoon stress etc. 183/91. The staff were concerned so the used the manual sphyg. A similar reading appeared. I was shocked to say the least. Id been training reagularly, eating well. The whole nine. The staff at the BB told me I should see someone ASAP. So I made an appointment with my doc. Nervous as hell I entered the room for the verdict. He placed the cuff on, filled it up, and gave me a strange look. He said my pressure was perfectly fine. I sighed in wonderment. One thing I did notice is when the doc took it the cuff didnt feel like it was going to pinch my arm off. He further enlightened me to the fact that there is different size cuffs. And due to us Bro's having bigger arms the convential size is not sufficeint. Therefor when having your BP taken make sure their using a cuff that fits your arm. If not the resulting reading is going to be false. Not to mention scare you to death.

Lucky for you bro. When I was 20 years old I found out I had high blood pressure. My average was usually 160/110. The doc put me on medicine and now it's fine. I've been on this medicine for a year now and don't get headaches anymore. I guess high blood pressure is just in the genes for me. Later

Yeah, you aren't the first bro to get worried because the damn cuff is too small. If any of the brotherhood ever get diagnosed (accurately) with high blood pressure/hypertension (HBP/HTN) don't mess around with it. If you are not comfortable discussing gear with your doc, request an ACE (angiotensin converting enzyme)inhibitor, since it will not affect gains or cause serious interactions. If you talk with your doc about gear, he'll probably prescribe the same thing. HBP is nothing to screw around with. Aside from all of the other bad things, it will cause atherosclerosis which will cut into your gains. Yeah, caught your attention there lol. Stay huge. Peace!
