Everyone knows how people get flamed if you ask a question or post something about a source openly on the board. And everyone always says if you have a question about a source to ask a mod for instead of posting it openly. Well I had a question about someone and asked a source if it was ok if I asked him if a guy was legit or not, his reply "I'll do what I can to help you out bro". So I ask about the source if they know if its a scam, wait about a week and no reply. So I send a little note as a reminder asking if they had any word on if the source was a scam, and once again no reply. So at that point I figured screw it, it must be so obvious that its a scam and or everyone but me knows its a scam that the mod is not replying thinking that I'm an idiot. So maybe a month or 2 later I kept reading through the updated scammer boards not finding this source on it, and reading more post saying if you have a question about a source ask a mod. So I mailed the mod who did that very post asking him the almost same question as the first explaining to him that he was the 2nd mod I asked this question, and once again I'll do what "I can for you bro". Another week goes by and nothing, {and yes I realise that the mods are busy and get a lot of mail} so I drop another reminder reply asking if the source is a scam and here I am about a week later wondering what am I doing wrong, why no one even drops me a lineor reply saying sorry can't help you, don't know, sure scam, free nude pics ect, ect.     | ||

Why don't you ask your source for references, if he doesn't have any references that are REAL vets and/or REPUTABLE mods (all on this board qualify) then he is a risk, and you shouldnt use him. if all else fails email me, Ill see what I can do. IM NOT A SOURCE OR KNOW ANY, but Ill let you know what I know of your guy. Slopain | ||

Sometimes it might be your question. For example, if you in any way ask me to give you a source name, I will not respond. I will generally respond about any info that I know about any source, if I know nothing, I'll just say 'no knowledge'. Also make sure that your email is repliable..is that a word ? What I mean is sometimes I will get email from one addy, requesting that I respond to another. THis is too much work and I will not reply. Did that make any sense ? Its not that myself, or probably most of the others don't want to help. I for one average about 40 mails per day. This takes atleast 60 to 90 minutes to read, reply or trash. MY info is free, sometimes my time is not. BPP | ||

I know I must be patient, its not even really that I'm not patient, because I really do have all of the time in the world,,,, well not all the time in the world but more than enough time. Its just I'm wondering am I coming off as a fed or am I being a dick about it or something. Or is it just so obvious that it is stupid? | ||

Yes BigPP that makes sense. What Idid ask was do you know if this guy who goes by these names is a scammer or legit, I did not ask for any names or mail from a different addy and want a reply to another address. But I guess that asking if some one is legit is kind of the same thing as asking for a source name,, sort of huh. | ||

You get from this board what you are willing to invest. If I were a mod and never read any of your post I would not believe that you were legit. Read and try to help others and see what happens. It takes time to build relationships on this board. | ||
